This was truly the worst dining experience I’ve had in Palm Desert ever. The appetizers were fine. Followed by us having to request wine glasses for everyone at the table, despite having bottles of wine on the table and everyone saying they would like wine. We asked about their wifi, after looking and seeing two available password protected wifi options. We were told by all staff they didn’t have wifi, which was untrue after showing them the two potential login options, and then we were told that neither worked. It’s sad to see in 2022 that a restaurant that isn’t able to figure out wifi. We then received our mains, one person had an over cooked steak, I ordered the salmon which had bones in it. We then moved to dessert hoping it would be better than the previous meals, spoiler alert, it was not. I requested vanilla ice cream, which they ran out of, several other people I. Our group then ordered cannoli which was inedible due to how hard and difficult the pastry was to consume. We thought it was just frozen but after the sever came out to prove to us the pastry wasn’t frozen it was clear it was so inedible due to the fact that it was either severely overcooked or was stale, regardless it did not give anyone confidence in the continued poor food experiences we had received. Overall, I would recommend skipping it corso and eating anywhere else in the valley.

Ordered take out from here, got the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and the tagliatelle pasta dish. Both were seriously lacking in sauce and flavor. Disappointed in the experience compared to the reviews we saw. Maybe it’s cause it was take out rather than dine in

Restaurant is a joke. They do not use any electronic means for reservations so you have to call to make reservations. No Opentable, no online reservations. Out of the dark ages.
I called 36 hours before dining to make a reservation. No one answered so I left a message---no return call
Called the afternoon of when we wanted to dine , no answer, so I left a detailed message describing the reservation I am making for the evening.
Got to the restaurant, they did not have my reservation. They had not checked their phone messages in 36 hours. So there I was 90 minutes before a live performance at Macallum and no place to go.
Run like a bush league business.
Do not waste your time.

We stopped here while visiting from OC. Juan Carlos was our server/bartender and provided excellent service and whipped up some fantastic cocktails (I had the Prairie cocktail from the menu and my companion had a lemon drop martini). The food was also excellent - we had a panini ( sausage) and the bolognese. All very fresh and cooked perfectly. Will definitely come back next time we are in town.

This has to be one of the best Italian restaurants in USA. The zucchini flowers where to die for. I highly recommend coming to Palm Springs just for il Corso.

I was enticed to check this place out based on the menu as it looked to be pretty authentic.
What we ended up with was slow service, sloppy and underwhelming appetizers, and two of our four pasta dishes arriving undercooked. And no, I'm not saying the pasta was al dente — I'm saying the tagliatelle were still hard and needed another 3 or 4 minutes in the water before they could even be considered close to al dente.
How can an Italian restaurant screw up something as simple as pasta so badly?
By the time the waiter came around to check on us, those of us who got properly cooked food were already finished, and we were all just ready to pay our bill and leave.
I will give our waiter credit for owning the mistakes and removing the undercooked pasta from the check (he could tell it was undercooked just by looking at it), but overall, I find this place difficult to recommend.
