Quaint eatery for breakfast with friendly staff. Indoor and outdoor seating.

Great food and service. Got there just before the rush and waited maybe 10 minutes on a Sunday. The chorizo and eggs were very good, perfect portion size. Nelson R was our server and was wonderful. I noticed he would stop to take a moment to do a magic trick for the kids waiting with their parents for a table. All round great experience!

5 for the food and 4 for the services. However we did get in right before the kitchen was closing. Reasonable priced, fries were yummy and the fruit bowl was amazing!!

Ya know that feeling you get when you can tell your presence is not welcome despite the smiling faces. My biggest regret is spending my final hours in beautiful Carmel here at this eatery.

You'll have a positive experience if you're not black or brown. I don't think much else requires an explanation.

Tip to staff (Mathew): If you witness customers sitting unserved for over 10 minutes after being seated and choose to acknowledge every table around them, maybe customer service isn't for you. A simple, "Have you been helped yet?" would go much further than random glances.

I would provide a tip to my actual server if they even bothered introducing their name. I guess we weren't worth the effort. Luckily, I was able to overhear Mathew cheerfully chatting with the customers around us.

Poor service, high prices, and mediocre food. Gotta love the audacity.

We had french toast and chilaquiles which was special for the day. We weren't informed before that the avocado and chorizo on top would be $3 each which made us think we got conned. If it wasn't for this non transparency, I would have given 5 stars.

Enjoyed dining outdoors this morning at the Red House Cafe. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. I enjoyed the French toast - it was great. Would definitely come back.
Place gets busy fast!
