Such a great spot, the staff is so sweet and the food is superb. The eggs Benedict is made with a croissant was perfect.

Cool little place in a good location with great food! I had the Chorizo and Eggs for Brunch and my Fiance had the Lobster Benedict special. Both were awesome! I loved the patio seating because it was sunny, but there was such a nice breeze. Even though it was busy for mother's day we still got in pretty quick. Definitely returning.

Go or not to Go: Def go! Stopped off here for lunch on a Sunday, no reservations accepted, so we wrote our name on the notebook placed outside and after half an hour wait were seated outside (inside was full- small inside). If you are not in a hurry ask for inside seating- it is terribly quaint inside. The service was great, our server very friendly, the food delicious- I had the brioche French toast (I know I know but it was worth it!) and my husband had their full breakfast of bacon, toast, potatoes, eggs and it was all scrumptious. You will see the line outside before you see the restaurant. Definitely would go again, and again. Prices are a bit on the expensive side as for the two of us we spent $50 for breakfast. While we waited for our table we just walked around beautiful Pacific Grove.

Slightly overpriced food. My partner's BLT sandwich was one of the best he ever had. I ordered the Caesar salad and it was so draped in dressing that it was like eating straight dressing. They were kind enough to bring me out they're orzo salad as a replacement and they're orzo salad is great. Also along with the Caesar salad were garlic croutons that were supposedly House made but they are not anything like a freshly made garlic crouton. The service was very good.

3 stars. Lunch at the Red House Café was a divisive experience. Many things very good with a couple disappointments. The café is in a charming small cottage with a grandma’s house feel. Not an overwhelming menu but a nice selection of salads and sandwiches with a couple more substantial plates. Baked goods in the case upfront looked very good. Pretty quiet on our visit with no wait for a table. Service was prompt and personable. We chose a couple of sandwiches today. BLT for the wife and a Warmed Tomato Mozzarella for myself. First thing I will say regarding the meal was that the Orzo Pasta salad served alongside the sandwiches was really, really tasty. Perfect pasta, red peppers, red onion, and olives mixed with a bright lemony dressing. Could easily be a meal unto itself with a chunk of warm bread. Tomato/Mozzarella was surprisingly served open faced on a nice crusty bread. Tomatoes were wonderfully sweet and the caramelized onions very flavorful. Disappointingly, rather than fresh mozzarella as expected the cheese appeared to be sliced like a deli cheese. Then full sandwich warmed under a broiler. Unfortunately, dousing of a balsamic dressing made the bread soggy very quickly. Still pretty tasty. The BLT was a mixed bag of flavors depending on the composition of the bite. Sometimes it tasted like bacon and mayo, others sweet caramelized onions. The main issue was with the quantity of mayo and the lettuce, the sandwich insides just slid all over and also caused the roll to disintegrate. This ended up being taken apart and ingredients eaten separately. Wonderful bacon. We both felt, even with the other concerns, more onions on both sandwiches would have been a good thing. Too full for dessert today. While our experience was mixed, I’d come here again in a heartbeat to enjoy another meal. Breakfast looks good.

Incredible place. We went at the busiest time and I was worried because a lot of people were waiting. We were seated in about 20 minutes outside on the porch. The meals are cheap, considering the portions and quality. The staff was very nice, and the food was AMAZING. My girlfriend got the Ham Benedict and we both agree that it was the best eggs benedict that we had ever had. Having it on the croissant was very unique and delicious. I got the country breakfast and it was a great value choice!

Could not ask for anything better during covid. Molly was the greatest sever ever. She made us all feel welcome and made sure what we ordered was what we got. There was 10 of us. Food came out together and hot. "So hard to do when sitting outside "
Totally yummy. OJ is the boom!!
Don't walk run to the red house and hope Molly is there to help you..

Went here for dinner with my husband. Our first time eating here. I ordered the portobello small plate and a mixed greens salad, he had the salmon filet beurre blanc. The food was fresh and delicious. Just absolutely amazing quality, you can truly tell that the ingredients are local sourced, fresh, crafted with care and experience. The place itself is a little red house. Small, intimate but thoroughly charming. It has character. A must visit.
