Super pricey but the food was pretty good. Some drinks were really good, some were basic. Be prepared to wait awhile before your food AND drinks come out.
The drinks were delicious 😋. My burger was overcooked but I liked what they tried to do. I had some of my friends mussels AMAZING. And the bone marrow was yummy.
Wow. This was a pleasant surprise. Mua is one of Oakland’s best kept secrets/underrated dining experiences. Yes, experience because it isn’t just about the food here. The ambiance, energy, art, decor, service everything is bar none IMO. Music: old school hiphop & R&B 5⭐️ Ambiance: artistic industrial 5⭐️ Drinks: nice variety, could be stronger 4⭐️ Food: nice selection of meat options, not a ton for vegetarians. I got the catfish which was very good. Portions are a little small for the price The pineapple upside down cake was AMAZING 4 ⭐️ Service: friendly, attentive, 4.5⭐️
Pretty good. Got some friends from grad school together for dinner Sunday night, wanted to catch up and chill. Didn’t realize the vibe is a bit more “club” than restaurant—pretty loud pumping music, low light, kinda hard to hear each other.
The food, however, was really great. Got a fried chicken cutlet with fresh arugula and lemon. Simple but really tasty. Will come back for the right occasion, i.e. before a night out!

Came for happy hour (but prices were same as normal and not hh prices) got drinks, soft shell crab po boy (amazing) and bone marrow.
Drinks are normally 11-12, for hh they are $10 🙄

Food is good. Ambience is good. But music is extremely loud. It's impossible to talk inside. Guys it's not a night club. Put volume down!
