Wonderful. Such coffee nerds, especially the barista from Central America. Really outstanding. Right up there with Balconi and LAB Coffee..

$4 for a 6 oz to 8 oz cup of coffee. Some people get a shoe shine for $4 with faster service. It took 5 to 7 minutes to get a cup of coffee. 7- Eleven costs less and takes two minutes. Starbucks is faster with more food and beverage choices.

Great coffee and cute atmosphere. Staff wasn’t very personable and baristas were talking/laughing about a client thinking no one could hear them.. too cool? I don’t know at times there is no seating available in the morning or there is crowded standing room when waiting for your coffee. pastries were excellent. Will go back but it won’t be an everyday spot.

Cute and quaint cafe with free wifi and lots of plug ins. The avocado salad is not bad too.

First off: valet parking is not mandatory! Find free street parking around the corner. Pretty cool, modern environment. First time trying a matcha latte which had mint. It was good but lacking a little bit of flavor. Will try something with coffee next time. They have a lot of unique drinks here and the food looked excellent. A bit pricey.

Needed a place to hunker down and get work done and saw this place! My drink, the staff, and the entire ambiance of the shop was lovely! Very warm, rustic theme with all the hardwood and glass beakers. And good Wi-Fi 👌outlets were limited tho

Posted this on Yelp and happy to offer a tip here as well. They don’t have enough people working and when they do, they never have someone at the register taking orders. The longest I’ve wait to get a drink order taken here was 7 minutes. That’s pretty standard. There are honestly better coffee spots in LA with way better service, I’d recommend Lab Coffee Roasters Or Sharp Specialty Coffee which isn’t far from Alchemist

THE BESTEST EVER! I've been a fan of Alchemist Coffee Project since moving to L.A. It was my go-to place for studying, writing, and meeting up with friends for coffee. During the pandemic they didn't disappoint. Both locations are incredibly managed and handled. The baristas really care about each drink and each person walking through the door. I have never had a negative experience here. All the drinks, pastries, and food items are delicious (I think I've tried most of them over the past 4 years).
Thank you guys for being so amazing!!
Take all my money >.<

The fact that their coffee drinks are mediocre doesn’t stop this place from being a decent place to work, there are plenty of outlets and tables. However there coffee is overpriced which would be okay if it was actually good. I feel as thought you pay for the ambiance. Which is a hipster Pinterest page basically. Two of their employees are incompetent and it’s completely frustrating. I ask for the same drink every time- I live one a 2 minute walk away. Sometime they say they can do the drink and other times they can’t. Today there was a young Asian guy with a red hat that kept refusing to make my drink as if it was just too difficult. I ask for a vanilla almond chai latte (with a shot of vanilla), if i want it hot I order it dirty, however the girls seems to make it just fine sure they charge for the shot but that doesn’t bother me! Honestly this guy was such a douche he instead decided to not make my drink and make it without the vanilla instead. It’s the small things they really ruin a place I can get the damn drink at Starbucks for God’s sake. I know one customer doesn’t matter but the community supports this place why not just accommodating ?
