Coffee Cup Cafe

The reason I give this review is because there were several tables and we had a party of four. They did not sit us because our 4th person was parking the car and was not inside the restaurant at the moment. They made us wait until he finished parking with no reason given and by then all the tables had already been taken. We ended up waiting 30 minutes extra even though they could’ve easily just given us a table. Bad service.

The is food passable no more than that.

Also they only accept cash 😒 bruh it’s 2019! In California! At Long Beach!!!!

This place has very delicious food, I love the way they cook their potatoes they are bomb. Lots of variety and everything is affortable. I'm a fan of french toast and theirs are great but the cream cheese stuffed ones have just a piece of cream cheese in the middle and it doesn't even get to melt it's just a block of cheese inside when you cut them, they are still great but look like they could get more love.

I was heading towards my frd house in Long Beach and wanted to have breakfast of American and had a look in yelp and found this place. I was very very happy with service and old lady, she was so patient as I was visiting for the first time and helped me in choosing food. I was just shocked looking at the quantity and was blushing looking at fried potato cubes. Juices were so fresh.

we have been regulars to the coffee cup for the past 2 years since we love on the block. It hasn’t been until the past 3 visits that some we haven’t been satisfied. I’m not sure if there is new owner ship, new chef or manager but the quality/care of the food they are producing has definitely gone down hill.

Great service, amazing food. After reading the reviews we worried about getting seated but there were no issues on a Sunday morning. The Eggs Benedict was delicious as was the 4th Street French Toast. Highly recommended!

Amazing food! I had the turkey sausage scramble with potatoes and had to add a side of french toast along with it! I showed up at 8:30am on a Saturday morning, thinking I'd beat the crowd, but no...I was #3 on a waiting list. Its worth the wait (short wait for me) and they have great food options!

Don't let that early morning line wrapped around the building deter you....If you want a quality breakfast and cup of Joe this is the place to go. I really dig the Baja breakfast burrito and the French toast, I could live of the both of those alone. They seat you pretty fast as no one tends to linger for too long after their meal, the service at this place is impeccable....very lovely people that run this place.
Be aware of the hours of operation as its only open till 2....a true breakfast diner at its finest.

9/10 because of that darn line you gotta wait in sometimes....but hey, that's just my opinion.

One of my favorite places to get breakfast in long beach, its a small place that has a waiting line most days but you get free hot coffee while you wait. Always a great staff and the cook know what they are doing because everything that come out of that kitchen is delicious but my go to is the David scrambler 👌

Friendly customer service and the price is fair. Make sure to bring cash, would be great if they could take cards for payment. Nonetheless they know what they are doing. I’m a huge fan of their Hanks Chile verde but tried their burrito this time. I got the burrito with Chile verde instead of their red sauce. The burrito was not great but the Chile verde made me enjoy it. I didn’t finish it though. I’d still come back. I like that they offer mighty leaf as their tea selection, kiddos to that coffee cup. They seem to have flavored coffee from what i tasted, maybe hazelnut.
