Be careful of where you park on Thur or Fri from 8 to 10. Street sweep days on the streets near this restaurant. Excellent food, Excellent service. Busy diner. Open floor plan. So, it is not a quiet breakfast nook. Had the Hank's chili verde omelette. Plenty spicy. Good home fries too.

Such a good and original menu. Only draw back is no booze and cash only! But don't let that stop you their food is the best around. I have tried almost all of it and everything is sooo good. They also have homemade salsa that is to die for!!!!

We came from North of California. Great place for breakfast! The restaurant looks very clean & when you enter you already feel welcome . The food was amazing and super good & in good quality. They serve everything nice & neat . A very nice lady came to say hello & she was really nice . I'm pretty sure she was the owner of the restaurant. It looks like a family business. The waiters were checking in with us to make sure the food was alright & made us feel at home . The price is great too ! Considering I came a long way from North California . If you are looking for a place to eat this is the one ! I highly recommend this restaurant.
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because 3 different servers offered me coffee and I asked for decaf coffee and it seemed that all of them forgot to bring it.
However, they eventually brought it to me.
Average, an excellent place!!

I fell for the hype. The first mission was finding parking. We drove around for a while and finally found a parking spot in front of someone's home, a few blocks away. The street sweeper services that neighborhood on Thursdays and Fridays, so you can't park on certain sides of the surrounding streets, in the mornings... that makes finding parking even harder.
The service was slow, but the staff was friendly.
The food options are pretty good, and the food is fine, but nothing to write home about.
I don't understand why they would want to inconvenience their customers by only accepting cash. I know that they do it to generate income from the ATM that they have inside the place, but it just seems so desperate to me, and I don't see why!? The place is always packed, they can't be hurting that bad to the point where they would have to resort to those cheap tactics.
If you're right in front of it, give it a try... but, I wouldn't drive more than 5 minutes to face all the inconvenience found here... the food and service definitely don't make up for it.

We've been coming here for years! Always high quality food. Surprisingly, the service is better on the weekends when they are busier.

Our favorite local breakfast spot. The staff is friendly, the food is fresh, the menu has loads of options & there is plenty of seating. Suggest you go early because it gets crowded & make sure to bring cash (yes, cash only). I’m giving 4/5 because it’s named after a coffee cup & there are so many good, local coffee places in Long Beach. Come for the food & service but not the coffee (if you’re a specialty coffee person).

We were in town for a wedding and decided to give this a try based on all the reviews and let me tell you it did not disappoint. Everything on the menu looked so good couldn't make up our minds lol. It was all delicious. My 10 year old ate all his grown up plate. The salsas were great. Now we wish we lived closer to come more often.

Early bird gets the spot...plenty of open tables at 7am!

First time there today and I'm impressed. Ordered the turkey scramble and it was absolutely delicious. They pumpkin spice coffee which was also good. The prices were very reasonable and the atmosphere was chill and relaxed. Will definitely go again

This place is awesome for breakfast! We got the combo with French toast, bacon, and eggs, and the boss omelette. The French toast and pancakes are done wonderfully where the French toast is semi thick and crunchy and the pancakes are thin and air-y.The potatoes are done super crispy and omelette packed with flavor. And for under 10 bucks for a plate?? Hands down will come back as this is the new go to breakfast place.
