Great breakfast. I don't know what was so special about the fresh fruit, but I loved it. I also appreciated that the wait staff did all jobs for all tables: they all took orders, served food and coffee, busted tables and checked on us. This seemed to be very efficient as we never had to wait for anything.

The coffee cup has outdoor dining now.

Waited 30minutes to get a table, 5 minutes to order, 40 to get my food. However food is delicious and large portions. You can serve your coffee cup upon arrival and enjoy it while you wait for your table. They do not have a food letter grade yet, according to the notice posted the health department did not fine mayor findings on the inspection of March 2017. Looking forward to see the new health inspection report for 2018.

Spacious and modern with chill vibes and great food. A nice change of pace from the chains. Highly recommend whether you have an appetite (try the Breakfast Burrito!) and/or just want a great cup of coffee done your way.

The workers are always nice, but the last two times I've been the quality of food has changed. I ordered chicken chili Verde and there was not one piece of chicken in there. Last time I ordered spinach omelet and it use to be fresh spinach and now it's canned spinach. Uggghhh

The food was awful my omelette was not fully cooked it was extremely runny. My daughters food was decent she enjoyed the pancake however you can't really screw this up. The fruit that we ordered with our meals it was bad and a cantaloupe had gone bad and was soft and you can absolutely look at the watermelon and see the dark spots. My daughter speaking that came with her meal have a really bad seasoning it kind of taste like they put a chorizo seasoning on a strip of bacon. Who cuts chorizo seasoning or any seasoning on a child's piece of bacon for children's meal I just don't understand!? Service was OK the server seem to be nice except for when we went to check out. They also seem very annoyed when I asked for a wet cloth says that I could clean up the sticky syrup that was all over the table. The bill was out rages by the time for adults and one child had eight we ended up paying $52 and left her maybe a two dollar and 50 Cent it. I'm not sure how this place got so many good reviews I was looking forward to a good meal with my family. Instead I got a stomachache and a empty wallet. I don't think I'll be coming back to this place. I hope this review helps any people who are looking for a good place to eat that either that moved out of the area or just want to try something new. I miss shore house café!

Such a great diner for breakfast! Would definitely go here every week if we lived in town. If you like good diner food and great service with lovely people come here. Bring cash. Cash only payments accepted.

Went here after the Long Beach 1/2 and it was great. There was a wait, but everyone was respectful of that. The food was delicious and affordable. Will definitely go back the next time I'm in the area.😋

Food was delicious I think my meal was $8 dollars and the service was good tables were clean very nice atmosphere completely full of people and my in-law said it was one of his favorite places to get breakfast in Long Beach. I thought the meal was really delicious everyone liked what they got and it was my favorite place to eat of all the places we ate at the past several days during my visit to Long Beach.

I've been eating here for about 20 yrs. Perfect neighborhood breakfast spot. The coffee is always 'just right'.
