Nice place to work for a few hours. Lots of seating inside and outdoors. Plenty of free parking available on the street.

The gentleman that took our order was friendly and most courteous. My only complaint is that the beverages took too long to prepare. By the time the beverages were ready, our heated breakfast was tepid.

Friendly service and nice location

Can't go wrong with Peet's!

An update since I first wrote this: for the last many months, what used to be Peet's outside seating area has been an ugly, closed-off construction zone. But now, Presto! With some fanfare it is now back to its former self, an open, attractive seating area. It is now part of what's called Livermorium Plaza, in celebration of the discovery of the chemical element of the same name several years ago at the nearby LLNL. Time to go back and sip one's favorite beverage in the open air.👍

Their espresso is something beyond disgusting, a blasphemy for my italian palate. Unfortunately that is pretty average for Livermore standards. Staff however is friendly and nice. Difficult to park nearby. Overall, I'm not going there again.

Anyone who even tries to compare Peet's to Starbucks doesn't get it.......no comparison. That said....I've never been to a Peet's I didn't love. True it's great when the staff is on the ball but ultimately the coffee is what makes it for me.

Peet's coffee has a great taste. The ambiance is just what you want. And they don't call in stormtroopers to whisk you off to jail even if you ask to use the restroom.

I bought a tin of tea and ordered oatmeal for breakfast. The tea was "Pride of the Port", a long time favorite from the "pre-Mighty Leaf" days when Peets carried their own excellent teas.

The service was very good at a very busy 8:45 am time. The oatmeal was good although the blueberries were dried. The oatmeal was either rolled or quick, not steel-cut, but much better than instant.

Livermore only has one, therefore it IS busy. However, staffing has never been better since Anne left to Main St USA (Pleasanton x3 stores as well as San Ramon, Dublin x1), and even on an early Sat. Morning. This was around 0730. Maybe 530 is less customers when they open. Big big coffee filters you could wear upside down as a summer sun hat. Funny. But not the smell! Even their standard roast smells great. Try the hot Oatmeal. It's a blend not your average cup of Joe, seriously. If not your brew, try the Snow Leopard if you want a slower weekend up, not a jolt-it's a White Tea. Not floral alike Jasmine but delicate. Nice!
This layout here seems to work. Getting condiments (including milks- yes x3 diff pourers), albeit no coconut, almond or soy here- take a visit at the end to the barista bar and request. Usually acomodated the more than 50 times I have been at this location over the past decade. So forget the airport drive thru. Try here in downtown. Ask for a receipt and just might recieve a survey with it. Next time 1.00 off your order

Ordering via the Peets app is so convenient. Park, order, go in and pick up! Never easier! Can earn points toward free drinks too! I love Peets!
