I love the new look! It is beautiful!
I've eaten there about 5 times now. Always great food and great service.
My breakfast was two full meals. One dish is way too much food for one person. I'd prefer seeing lower breakfast prices and smaller portion sizes.

I eat here once in awhile because that "Other place" down the street is ......well ....un-eatable and thats a fact. Breakfast is good but the bacon needs work and is not always on the up N up, "How can anyone screw up bacon" (Tasteless).
The hotcakes are bigger than any fib you ever told. Coffee is good n hot and the wait staff is always on top of your cup refill. Waitresses are always very positive and friendly. That "Other Place" down the street ...their wait staff are always in a bad mood. My 3 star review is because the food can be better, a cook with more care given to flavor would be a huge improvement.

Wheelchair accessible parking and entrance, there was a table available when we arrived, reservations are not required, takeout is available, they have high chairs available, we were seated immediately and service was friendly, food was amazing. Thats the first time in my life I couldn't finish my food. I got the breakfast burrito with sausage, my kids had the cheeseburger meal, mom had a huge as hell salad, and our friend had a burger and fries. They make sure you have more than enough food. Would definitely reccomend. We have tried to go there 6 times this month but we keep going when they are closed. Finally drove by just to see and they were open so we stopped. We were not disappointed. They even had chocolate milk for the kids! Its a must try! Thank me later 🥰

Great food an service is awesome

Best friendly service in Lake Isabella! We have been visiting Lake Isabella for years, but never experienced exceptional customer service like the one our waitress Judy provided. Oh the food is good too, best onion rings I've ever tasted, crispy fries and large size burgers. I definitely recommend this place, and Judy for awesome service. Thank you Judy!

The food is excellent. The service is a little slow, but everyone is so friendly there. I will definitely return anytime I'm back in this little town.

Bartender was very friendly. Their tall beer is a 26 oz for $6. The meatloaf is $11, but you could easily make it two meals. Comes with mashed potatoes and gravy, and some green beans with some sweet recipe of some kind. Good food, good service, that's what brings them back...!

A large group of us ate dinner..20+...and we were all seated at a long table. Glad they could accommodate us. This was in the main eating area and the noise level wasn't bad. The kitchen sent out food in shifts but we took it in stride and took the opportunity to chat. I had the prime rib special with mashed potatoes and gravy and green beans with bacon. Mine was tasty and the meat cooked to order. Service was good considering our numbers. Will go back again. You should also try something from their varied menu.

The food was really good at the Dam Corner. The biscuits and gravy are fantastic. I also had the chicken fried steak that was also really good. I could tell it was hand made. It wasn't that premade store bought junk that some other places sell. I would highly recommend this place for a first time visitor to the Kern River Valley. Enjoy the great food, helpful wait staff, and beautiful environment.
