Dam Korner

My old boyfriend and I went there when we were in college more than 30 years ago. It was great food back then. We thought it was perfect name for a restaurant located at the corner near the dam.

Excellent breakfast spot for vacationers or regulars. Real friendly service with lots of coffee refills. I like the Green Chili Omlette but my husband prefers the Chili Omlette. So much food you'll take half home. Definitely worth it to stop by for a bite.

Just finished the best Chicken Fried Steak I've had in years. They make the real deal here. Pounded round steak, chicken drippings in the gravy, and a nice crunchy crust, and dont get me started on the 'taters! Definitely a 10 out of 10. Friendly service and a reasonable price. If you're headed to Lake Isabella, don't miss out!

Great meal and great staff! Loved my sandwich, friend loved the club. But we all shared and devoured the French toast.....soooo good!

I wish so much that we got the name of our sweet little waitress to give a shout out to, but unfortunately we didn’t. Not only was the food one of the best we’ve had out since we can remember, but the service from our waitress just made the whole experience worth that much more. We do a lot of dining out, and have crossed paths with many waiters and waitresses, but this particular girl just made our dining experience that much better. You can tell a fake personality from one that just spreads joy wherever they are, and this girl definitely did. Thank you to whoever you are and hope you see this to get some recognition

Best Dam Food Anywhere! Love their burgers! Amazing chicken fried steak. And put their homemade salsa on anything. Great staff and a beautiful restaurant.

Good food, good service, nice atmosphere!!

Very good food, decent prices, clean establishment, and nice people. My only complaint is the hours are a little weird and they close often without much of an explanation... but between a global pandemic and having a limited customer base due to residing in the lower-income part of the Kern Valley, that is to be expected and forgivable.
