Blue Butterfly Coffee

Without a doubt my personal favorite coffee spot in the area. The coffee is consistently good (as are the pastries), the staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and its dog friendly to boot. I used to live in El Segundo and started most days here, and I make it a point to stop by whenever I'm in town. Definitely check it out.

Great service. Was disappointed that the only decaf was Americano (I love dark roast and have no need of the simulation from caffeine). However everything was very nice.

The blended espresso drinks are unique and fantastic. The chocolate peanut butter one is surprisingly not sweet. Their coffee is tasty, and things like the creme brulée cappuccino aren't too sweet. Muffins are good, but the croissants are kind of average.

First time at the cafe... loved the cheese jalapeño danish and their blue butterfly tea latte-thingy... so yum. I'll be back!

Inconsistent when they stop serving food… knowing this, I called to double check at 230p, and no one answered. Arrived at 243, and they said they were no longer serving food. I asked when they stop and they said 3p. 🤨 Also has changed closing hours multiple times. Even their listed hours on here are wrong. After awhile, it just doesn’t feel good to deal with such things. Used to go all the time but… yeah

I did see that the hours were updated the day I posted my last review. This evening I saw hours were back to 8p. I called at 715~ to doublecheck, and no one answered. Since they don’t always answer, I swung by (725~). Workers were inside but informed me they closed at 7p. 🎉😑

Coffee and breakfast items are delicious. It's hard to imagine that anyone would be disappointed with their coffee/latte. However, if you're looking for a soy option, they don't have it. And be prepared to wait in a line. They are always busy.

Always stop in for a coffee when I’m in the area. Good selection of coffee and tea related drinks and pastries/bagels. Service can be a tad slow occasionally, but it’s never too long and the coffee is worth it.

Took 40 mins for 1 egg sandwich. If your really hungry go elsewhere cause you will wait a while. Listen closely for your name as mine and several other orders were taken by other people as they don't check tickets just place food on counter and hope for the best.
