We are from out of town— tried to stop in for a quick coffee. I walked in, the door was open but no one was there. An employee walks in behind me a few minutes later and says they are closed. It’s 4:29pm. Maybe they can just update their hours posted online?

Coffee is great here, I tried pretty much all of them on the menu. They know how to do coffee right, and serve it in a friendly, welcoming way. So if you are here for good cooffe and a chat with your friends or co-workers you'll most likely love it. But I'm here for wifi too, as I am at any other coffee shop and this almost never works, or doesn't work well, rarely can I get anything done here. I did let the owners know but it looks like thier IT department has the last word. Also, they don't take Apple or Android pay, which is odd for this type of coffee place. The ordering sequence is odd too, you have to stay in line to order AND pick up, so it takes a while till you can get a seat at a table.

Love the cafe latte! Seats are somewhat limited. Great coffee, but pastries are not so good. They were cold and hard, and they don't heat it up for you.

Best coffee in Orange County. Often wins the World Barista Championships. Seating can get kind of limited but you're able to walk around the building and find a spot. Make sure to ask for the wifi password at the counter if you need it, it gets printed with your receipt

Simply put coffee roasted to it's fullest potential. Wow! I thought while in here from Las Vegas and since it is National Coffee Day I should search out a new coffee lovers paradise. Boy did I find it at Portola Coffee.

Simple no flash menu and drinks focused on the magical bean is what you while find here. Even the Vegan friends will be delighted about the milk alternatives. I ordered the classic hit americano $3.00 and was I impressed. The drink was actually offered to me in a nice ceramic mug to break away from the paper cup only GREEN MONSTER company. Then it was love at first sip. Creamy caramel smooth full body roast that could not have been done any better.

I enjoyed the coffee in the beautiful tranquil court yard out back surrounded by flowers and other green landscape. Perfect ample seating to accompany the perfection in the cup.

'Spensive, but it's a damn good cup of coffee. I guess that's the common refrain for the OC Mix Mart in general--expensive, but pretty much worth it. I've been here a couple of times now and I've left a happy camper both times. I think I had some kind of a hot mocha the first time and the second time was an iced vanilla latte. Expertly made, and just what the doctor ordered. I know I can always rely on good quality coffee here, yum.

I'm a barista at Starbucks and I just loved the people, the food, and especially the coffee. Such a rich, creamy, and pure taste to the coffee, I can tell they use very good water in their espresso. I want to find out more about their methods, it's so fascinating what they do there!

Located in one of my favorite locations in Orange County, SoCo & the OC Mix. Typically I get my favorite mocha cafe and then will walk into several of local shops looking for inspiration: BoConcept, Design Within Reach, Room and Board and Roche Bobois.

Not quite my cup of tea.. .hm coffee. Although it was really nice to have coffee in a real cup I did miss my spoon and real sugar to sweeten and stir the coffee to my liking. Super nice n cozy place though and staff very friendly! But go all the way for a sophisticated coffee experience you're reaching for.
