Great coffee, extremely fresh. inexperienced baristas that don't listen to what your looking for. My coffee was super fresh but too weak. I asked for a medium - strong and too weak for my palette. Would have been better off at Starbucks. Would have spent less at Starbucks and been happier. And the wait at this place.

Pricey but good coffee. Matcha latte is also decent but nothing out of ordinary. Minimal seating around the bar and the community seating does not have electricity outlets. The baristas can be a bit snobby but otherwise their service is decent.
I wouldn’t be opposed to coming back here again but it wouldn’t be my first or second choice either.

I got the cappuccino and it was good, but I will need to go back a few more times to really try more options to give a real opinion.

Fantastic coffee, Flat Brown is one to try.

This place has some of the beat coffee options i have seen. If you are in and around this place, and you love your coffee, this place is a must go for you. Service, ambience is perfect. Cost is also very competitive, will prefer this over Starbucks or any other chain any given day.

Portal is coffee is pretty great. The atmosphere is also great. Be prepared to spend a decent amount of cash on any coffee and or pastries you were wanting to enjoy. The nice thing about Portola is the coffee is good and it’s consistent.

Excellent place, clean. Coffee is excellent I was able to taste the notes as described. Two complains, 1) I ordered for her but was served in to go cups, 2) Milk steaming was excellent and the art was perfect but was too hot to drink

nothing impressive.
For the suburbs, 1 up from Starbucks, 2 down for convenience.
Fruit forward beans make the milk taste sour.
prices are astronomical.
I guess you're only catering to the type of clientele that base decisions on yelp and think everything is non-sense instagram-able photo OP

congrats.

Slow service but the coffee is good. I think there is a law that states the quality of coffee goes up exponentially by the increase in number of hipsters preparing it. And, it is a great place to come with a laptop & get some work done. Much better than Starbucks.

Great place to grab a coffee.
First off the atmosphere is definitely quite hipster, it almost threw me off just because it really isn't my scene. So I've had quite a few friends recommend the place so I decided to check it out anyway. Ordering was simple, fast, and convenient. I always like to try out any coffee joints plain old Americano, as with most non flavored drinks you get a really decent idea of how quality their coffee is.
Now the Americano was pretty good it wasn't overpowering or overly bitter like some joints usually prefer they're Americano style drinks. Though if you're not a fan of black coffee I would recommend sticking to some of their flavored items. I didn't get a chance to try any other desserts or pastries but they had a pretty large and fancy selection (they have macaroons).
I guess the biggest gripe for the place is if you dine in they will give you actual ceramic drinkware and plates. When I was finished using them I had to ask where I was to place my drinkware and I was directed to a busbin under the sugar and creamer area. If I had not asked I would have had no idea where to put the items.
Other than that the experience was positive the coffee was pretty good and the atmosphere is pretty laid-back.
