Kate's Tea house has always had a special place in my heart. The food is Amazing, the Teas of course are Awesome and the atmosphere is perfect. If you haven't been, you must go. It's such a quaint little tea house.

Columbia Kate's Tea house is a great place, with great food and awesome service. My wife and I made a trip there for the day and were very satisfied. The tea was to die for and the lunch and deserts are just as awesome. Lemon bars were perfect as well as their famous apricot scones. In the area? stop by. You will not be disappointed.

Positively unique and intimate setting, classy decor, and friendly wait staff. Huge variety of teas, in which staff are well versed and can help whittle down to something right for you. One drawback is that the two or three times I've been so far has been during the lunch rush on days they happened to be short staff. Unlucky on my part I guess, but they still managed to keep up a good pace with our orders--hats off all the more to the wait staff and cooks in that regard.

Lovely place, amazing tea and food, my favorite spot!! I drive 1 hour and half each way just to enjoy this place!

It's been sold. The new owners don't understand how to make the orders for afternoon tea. They won't let you order like the old owners did. Very frustrating. Can't get what you want even though you are willing to pay. Don't know if we are going back. Good luck if you go. Why go if you can't get what you want. Really disappointed!!!!! Have to find a new place.

I visited this adorable Teahouse with friends for lunch recently. Had very tasty Chicken Pot Pie. We shared a pot of Meyer Lemon Cream Tea. I am in love with this tea! Brought some home with me to Maine. It is the smoothest tea I have ever had. So sorry I didn't buy a lot more while I was there. Would have needed another suitcase!

Called ahead and reserved a table for 12pm. We didn't eat till 1:45! I tried to order the oriental chicken salad, they were already out of stuff to make it. So we ordered and the waiter kept coming back and telling us they were out of this, they were out of that. Had to change our order numerous times! Brought out three sandwiches that were supposed to have bacon on them and didn't even tell us they had run out of bacon! They open at 11, so from 11 to 12 they were already out of all those items. Asked for a to go box three times before i gave up! Food wasnt even that good! We had to pay full price even though most of our orders weren't complete! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!

Just happened to stumble upon this little restaurant while traveling South and it was really awesome! Lots of different teas to try, black, green and white tea! I had the vegetarian pasty and it was delicious! Small cute little place to stop for lunch.

Very good fare and wide selection of teas.
Kinda pricey tho. $60 for lunch for two with tea and dessert. Quaint & cozy

I'm vegan and had this delicious vegan sandwich with black bean corn soup. It was hearty and delicious. I also shared a pot of lemon meter tea with my son. Absolutely delicious!
