Columbia Kate's Teahouse

We had lunch here, which was absolutely delicious! The tea was incredible & Candy, our Waitress was so sweet. She took excellent care of us and was so sweet with gang of kiddos!

I take special guest to this place because the food is fresh and handmade and the atmosphere is wonderful. Staff is usually excellent.

I love this place, you can go here and have an experience. The atmosphere is so unique. Also you can taste different teas to find what you like. Teas are high quality and unique. You can buy loose teas to take home as well.
I stayed KETO, the grean salad with tumric lime dressing. And the quiche that is crustless. I had the coconut tea. The coconut and the wedding white are favorites of mine.

The atmosphere was cute but the dish I ordered was awful. I ordered the Pasty. The meat had zero flavor, taste like boiled hamburger no seasonings. The salad was good. I had cheesecake for dessert was blan no sweetness at all. The waitress never wore a mask. I had to ask 3 times for honey for my tea. It was cold by the time she finally rembered to bring it. Doubt I will try eating there again. Very disappointed.

Unfortunately it was disappointing. One slice of my bread over and inch thick, the other about half N inch. Not life threatening, but dry, and more like white bread than the ordered wheat. My sisters pasty dry, so dry. My other sisters croissant waay undercooked, squishy instead of flakey.
Service super friendly, never checked back. Quaint atmosphere, but cannot go back. It's too bad, I love Columbia.

Had a lovely lunch, made even lovelier by our waitress Candy! Every menu item absolutely satisfied. The Lavender Lemonade is a must try refresher.

Delicious, homemade food, a huge selection of tea. Adorable aesthetic!

Really disappointing experience. We were ignored at the door for several minutes, it took over 10 to get water, and over 20 to even get our order taken. After a while longer of waiting, we realized there were several other tables in the same predicament. The strange thing was, the staff was standing in the kitchen area behind the counter socializing. No one was doing much of anything. We ended up excusing ourselves and walking out. Don’t go to this place unless you have hours to wait and don’t mind poor service.

My daughter insisted that we leave a review stating we would give 10 stars if we could! We were provided with fancy hats, the tea was delectable and the food was PHENOMENAL!!!! Great service and a welcoming atmosphere. 10/10 will visit again!

Food, tea, and service was supreme! Michelle was an absolute joy and we had an overall magical time!
