Jakes Original Tex Mex Cafe

I was very satisfied by the overall experience there...! Jake's is upbeat, alive and an exciting place to eat at... I will be back hopefully many more times to come... Great Food, very friendly staff, now the parking situation can be a bit tough due to limited spaces, so get there early because it get's packed at lunch time...! MRod><>

Love this place! The food is wonderful! Atmosphere awesome! The best slow cooked pit beef around! I often call and order for parties too! Never been disappointed.

The food is pretty good but not the best, it was a bit heavy in my opinion. The girls that work there are pretty cute though so that's a plus. The chili is actually really good though, I'd go there just to get their chili.

The service was great how ever for the price of the 2 meat plate with the very small servings I was very displeased with the amount. I understand there is a meat shortage but to serve at the most 3 oz of tri tip and maybe 2 oz of pulled chicken is crazy.

Food is always amazing and they have the best Iced Tea in the county. The atmosphere makes one long for a Texas vacation. Cons, however, are the prices and the menu can be too complicated at times.

Just stopped at Jakes to get my favorite Paradise Ice tea!!! Love the food...have been noshing there for many many years...its great food and the ambience is very nice!!!

One of the servers was not in a good mood but the food didn't disappoint, just a little pricey.

Good tasting food; the way the food is ordered is way to fast... Specially for a first timer... However, the server patiently explained after I told her it was my first time there. I'll definitely go back.

Love the food. The tri-tip sandwich is my most favorite along with the cheesy pototoes.
The only complaint I have would be the employees, they really arn't very friendly I always feel a little uncomfortable ordering like I'm putting them out.

The rice and beans at this place are exceptional, however, the beef and chicken selections were dry and somewhat tuff. Almost buffet style, this place is a favorite to locals who know it's attention to great proportions of the many selections found here.
