Who doesn't love Jake's?!! I can't think of one thing that I've had here that I didn't like and what about Jake's cake?!!!! Need I say more?!! Just go try it for yourself, you won't be disappointed!!

The food is definitely delicious and the workers will serve you with a smile! It's got a great atmosphere. The only reason it's not 5 stars is that it's really hot and cramped on the inside.

This is the best Mexican Tex Mex Food in Bakersfield! Excellent service, everything is prepared fresh & take out is available! We highly recommend Jake's Tex Mex! Next time we're trying their famous chocolate cake!

Always have had a good meal here. The portion sizes are great, usually enough to take home and have a second meal. Quality and taste have always been enjoyable.

#1 place to get bbq. They are so awesome they have shiner Bock! When we eat here it makes my hubby feel like he's bk home in San Antonio Texas.

Basically great stuff. Not a fan of the potato salad. Nothing wrong with it, just not my taste. My wife thinks it's too much dill. I think it's too much mustard.

The food is amazing every time. So many options and you cant make a bad choice. The staff is great. The only drawback is its really hard to feed a family of 5 if you're on a budget but you cant find homemade food like that anywhere in town.

really wished they remodeled the place, its too small for its clientell (that may be the charm of it i suppose however). if you want a mean plate of beef nachos, this is where to go. need larger parking lot!

Always good food. Cheesy potatoes are the best! Love the deep pit beef. Food always seems fresh and it's very clean inside. Good recommendation for anyone looking for some comfort food.
