Hail Fellow Well Met

Pretentious. I tried... twice. I like a unique cafe but this place just doesn't pull it off. I can't recognize most of the ingredients but the real deal breaker is the taste. I couldn't stomach anything I ordered the last time, the banh mi and the brioche. The smell of the banh mi was repulsive. We thought my friend had gotten grits by mistake, didn't realize they were eggs until she tried them. Two stars for good coffee.... That came hot in a glass.....a whiskey glass. I don't know how she picked it up without burning her fingerprints off.

Had an amazing brunch that accommodated two toddlers! Incredibly kind and helpful staff. We are from out of town but will be making the trip to Johnson (central location) every day for the rest of our visit! Caitlyn (not sure on spelling) was incredibly helpful in checking in and making sure we had everything we needed at our table! Thanks for the hospitality!

Great first visit. Killer space. Good breakfast. Stellar latte as expected. Going to be a place to frequent.

Gorgeous interior design, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and of course unique and delicious food and drinks.

The place is modern and the coffee is great yet expensive but not really any more than most of the other locals. The only downside pertains to some of the staff members acting a bit snobbish. I had a couple of waitstaff pass me and not as much of a look let alone a smile or service request.

Hail Fellow Well Met is a lovely, well-run cafe!

If you love great coffee and espresso, they've got it. If you want friendly and attentive service, they've got it. If you want a SUPER cool, well-designed, beautiful cafe environment, they've got it. Finally, their food is EXTREMELY unique! Well Met is one of the first establishments that I recommend to folks visiting the region.

Wow what an experience! I was greeted with a smile by everyone working! An extremely kind employee took the time to show me around the shop, bought my coffee and then continued the conversation at the table! It is obvious that the employees are not just looking for a quick dollar but want to make sure all your needs are met at this incredible establishment! I was even introduced to the owners and they stoped what they were doing to meet me and get to know me! I heard the audible voice of God when I took my first sip of the coffee because it was. that. good. They have my loyalty for life and I am confident that they will be there for me in any season of life because of the true connections they were forming with me and every other customer in there at the time.
