River City Coffee

My favorite coffee shop. And the people who work there are really friendly and the environment is homey and comfortable. They've also got a great music selection. The coffee is great and so is the pastry collection, along with my personal favorite, their smoothies.

Was looking for a coffee shop in Little Rock and was between here and a couple of other specialty shops. The coffee was decent, but nothing to write home about. I got an Americano and it was just a slightly stronger black coffee. I'm usually into fruity, acidic Ethiopian and this was just short of the opposite. However, if you are looking for run of the mill coffee, then this may be up your alley. Just not something I would consider specialty.

SEATING: It's a small shop but they make good use of space for seating. So far I've always found a place to sit, and I've come at different times throughout the day.
POWER OUTLETS: Yes! Each little cluster of seating has at least one. They've also invested in multiple power strips. Why more coffee shops don't do this I have no idea.
ATMOSPHERE: Artsy but cozy. They've got a record player with plenty of records you can flip through, books to read, and even board games.
COFFEE: Good! They even offer coffee ice cubes so your iced coffee doesn't get watered down.
FOOD: They've got the basics, like bagels and muffins. My only complaint about this place is that they could offer more food.

The place is alright. The coffee sucks. They use an automatic espresso machine. Also I go there sometimes to work. Almost impossible because there is not enough space. I feel like a giant in that place.

This place is tiny. The cappuccino machine was broken. So, no lattes or anything that needed steamed milk. My coffee was delicious. Not much for food. The atmosphere is quiet. Nice place to just sit and study or read or knit something. They play nice music on the turntable. The staff are friendly. Worth a second visit.

Nice atmosphere but I abhor “push-button” coffee machines. Too bad. Such a great vibe - but such a cool coffee shop should have a real espresso machine.

Delicious coffee, per usual. The expanded space feels great! Thanks for creating such an inviting and calm space for gathering, working, and enjoying community!

My girlfriend and I have been trying out all the local coffee shops in Central AR and we feel the most comfortable here so far. They have hot and cold options of every drink. Muffins are very moist.

On Friday, February 16th, after my girlfriend and I finished our Valentines Day date dinner, we decided to enjoy a hot beverage (a coffee drink of some sort). But we decided that we wanted to try a new place, that was not a big nationally recognized chain business, a place that was locally owned and operated. We found River City Coffee by way of Google....what else..?? lol..
It's a small place, and it was dark, but we found it. And we were so very happy & pleased that we did! We loved the eclectic art and decor of the place. We were comfortable and enjoyed our beverages, and our time in this local establishment. Seth was the employee that took care of us that night. Seth was a very personable, friendly, and professional guy. And he knew what he was doing when it came to making our drinks. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our visit to this local business. And we plan to go back there on an ongoing basis in the future. Thank you River City Coffee, and thank you, Seth for a pleasant and enjoyable experience on our date night!!! -Brian J. Anderson- :-)

I ordered large carmel latte, comparable price to big franchises but the quality was so much better. You can tell they take pride in each cup from the choice of beans they use, to the quality of the espresso shots in each drink. I will definitely be coming back regularly.
