Service was incredibly slow. It seemed as if there weren't enough servers. We sat for 10 minutes before we were even greated. Hallf of our food came out quickly but then we had to wait 15 minutes for the rest to come out. Never got refills on drinks even with asking. It's a shame this was our first brunch experience in Jonesboro as they were highly recommended.

The food was overcooked (the eggs were brown), the soup was cold, things were put on the meal that were not listed in the description, which could be a huge issue for anyone with allergies. The orange juice had fermented. The service was poor, but it was not their fault, as they were understaffed that day. We had high hopes for this place, but we will definitely not be going back. As a side note, they also had a full bar, but no alcohol offerings, as they have lost their liquor license.

Stopped here after the good review while on a road trip. They were short staffed, so it was slow. However, the food was excellent with large portions for the price. Staff was super friendly. We sat on the patio with the dog, which was a huge plus.

I'll start with the Pros because there was only 1. The appearance, design, layout and overall historical presence was very impressive. It's like taking a step back in time with the exposed brick and wide open spaces (That's the pro). Now for the cons... Lunch menu not available til noon, not a huge con but I wanted lunch at 1130 and it wasn't an option. The biggest let down was the entire meal itself. 3 orders of waffles and bacon for my girls and all waffles were overcooked and incredibly crunchy, while half the bacon was still raw and floppy. The build your own omelet came out browned, blackened and burnt. The only dish to arrive that looked good visually failed in the flavor department. The toad n da hole was bland an unimpressive, but that wasn't the biggest issue. The egg was so undercooked and runny they might as well have just cracked the egg over my plate when they brought it to the table. Cleanliness is also not of great importance to them either, one of the waiters dropped the syrup on the floor by our table and just left it. We went the entire meal with a pile of syrup beside us while we begrudgingly finished our disappointment of a meal. Long story short... We won't be back

Gave it a 4/5 stars because they advertise an alcoholic beverage menu online but do not have that at this time. If they manage to switch over their liquor license and offer a full menu again I will change my review. I understand it is a matter of legal policy and they are working hard to find a solution and I will be checking periodically to make sure this review is accurate.
If you've read this far, they have an excellent coffee bar, brunch, and delicious menu. The staff are very kind and the area is clean with plenty of seating.

The number of people that came in before us and after us compared to when we all received our food was inconsistent. Our food was cold. The food poses as authentic Irish and it's not. The flavors are bland and the hash potatoes should be crispy and these were soft. The coffee is the most expensive drink, we recommend the sweet tea...that was good!

It is my first time here and so far, amazing! Great staff and close atmosphere, almost reminds me of dining in Europe. The food is fantastic. The sausage gravy tastes wonderful and the biscuits are fluffy and fresh. Totally recommend the cheese grits. True flavor!!!!! I will be back!

You won't find a better place to eat in Jonesboro. The staff is so friendly and polite. The food is absolutely delicious. It has such a homey environment & the food stands by it! Whether it's the weekday lunch or the weekend brunch, you simply cannot go wrong with The Parsonage.

Wholesome and family-like feel from the food and employees. Chef John and Ramey have created a beautiful and comfortable atmosphere and will give the shirts off their backs for anyone that walks through the door. Highly recommend this place!

What a disappointing experience. I wanted to like this place because I appreciate the whole farm-to-table attitude. But If I had read the google reviews before visiting - the ones for which the chef writes back and refutes every concern the reviewers have and says they should have spoken to the manager while there - I wouldn't have bothered.
Our Sunday brunch visit was all kinds of wrong. First off, there's a sign that says we should seat ourselves, and someone would be right with us. So we found a table for two on the covered patio. After about ten minutes, someone finally offered us menus. It was at least another ten before she took our order. In all, it was an hour from the time we sat until the time we had food.
The menu is rather limited, with prices on the high side. An omelette was $12 and the only sides offered were grits or hash - no toast, no fruit. It looked like a two-egg omelette with very little meat. A four-egg omelette is $25; I suppose it's meant to be shared. A "Bishop's breakfast bowl for two" is $16.25 and includes two eggs, sausage, bacon, hash, and a biscuit. That sounds like a meal for just one hungry person - y'know, the size of a Denny's Grand Slam - except twice the price.
Toad-in-the-hole was a modest portion and bland. I don't know why the egg yolks were hard while the egg whites were runnier than the gravy.
The person who brought our food was not the person who took our order. This second woman set the food down, said "Oh, you don't have silverware - hold on while I fire someone, ha ha..." so I guess she's management. She left and then returned with flatware and set it down without saying a word. She did not ask if we needed anything else. No one ever came by to check on us until we were done and awaiting a check. I would have liked a knife (I was given a spoon and fork), salt and pepper, and drink refills.
We heard about the alcohol situation from folks at the next table, as well as overheard a waitress explain it to other diners: apparently the place has no liquor license, but serves mimosas and bloody Marys for free. "If you order a few, I guess we'd charge you for an orange juice," she said. We were not offered this opportunity, though, and no staff came by after we'd heard. I don't want to pay $12 for runny eggs just to subsidize other folks' drinks. Also I'm not 100% sure this is legal, even in Arkansas.
So to return to the comments by the chef that other reviewers should have spoken to management: we didn't have the opportunity. There was no one to be found for any sort of help or service. The manager herself didn't even offer any help. I can't recommend this place.
