Only negative thing I have to say is that I do wish there were more outlets around, particularly in the middle area.

Giant Coffee has a really nice hipster atmosphere and is perfectly located near the the library. It's everything you'd hope for in a local coffee shop, modern look, and the vegan pastries. I wasn't able to give them 5 start though, because the service could have been faster, my friend had waited quite a while for some toast as did I for my pastries.

Really good coffee. Seating is just alright though. It's mostly farm style seating along two long tables. There's some high top counter space and then a few seats up front (that are very uncomfortable). This seems to be aimed at remote workers and doesn't really feel like a welcoming "cafe setting" which is why it went from 4 to 3 stars. If you're looking to work, great. If you want to meet up with a friend or two, find another place.

Giant was at one point my go to shop for coffee. They served great coffee and food and the atmosphere was perfect for spending time reading and doing homework. Giant WAS the place for any specialty coffee enthusiast. While it is understandable why they had to change roasters, there are other aspects of the shop that are changing that take away from the details that at one time set Giant apart from other shops. Today I spent $6 on a honey vanilla latte that tasted like flavored milk. It seems like focus has been shifted away from the natural flavors of the coffee itself. The quality that went into their handcrafted beverages has drastically declined and they don’t even have lids that fit their cold cups properly. I may have been willing to look past one poorly crafted beverage and give the shop a second chance had my iced latte not leaked into my cup holder and onto my clothes because the lid didn’t fit the cup well enough. The shop was once staffed by enthusiastic baristas that we’re knowledgeable about coffee and truly cared about the quality of the drinks they made. Sadly, that is no longer the case. One of the gals behind the counter spoke very openly about not wanting to be there and was obviously not concerned about customer service. Giants attention to detail was what made the shop my top choice over others for over three years. Sadly, I won’t be returning anytime soon.

Love this place. Everyone is kind. The atmosphere is one of the best to chill or work in. Its one of my fav places to sit and work from. I usually am a basic Americano with honey kind of girl but I tend to try new things here. Their Honey Latte is great if you are in the mood for some creamy goodness.

Giant Coffee is one of Downtown/Central Phoenix’s best cafes. The owner of Matt’s Big Breakfast, focused on coffee, the food, and the space. All three make this place an excellent place to work, hang with friends, or grab a quick cup before work.
I especially enjoy their space on Fall and Spring days as they open up the front and create an indoor/outdoor space.
Plus, if you have time to eat there, their breakfast burritos are excellent.

Never coming here again. I ran out of masks in my car. I asked if they could give me one, even offered to wait outside for my drink. They refused to even take a mobile order. Said they will not serve people without masks. Do not give them your business. Horrible customer service. Treat people subhuman for not having a mask.

Cool, trendy, if you're into that. Friendly staff, but it might take you a long time to get what you ordered. Not a ton of seating, and not much for parking. The food was good, though, and it's a uniquely designed space. For some reason, they were playing heavy metal music the morning we were there. Bizarre.

Is the difficult review to write because this place is pretty uneven. When the doors of the coffee shop or open in fall and spring it is a wonderful place to sit; this is hands-down the reason to come to this coffee shop. When the doors are closed you become aware that the seating is really weird, and if you have a laptop it is difficult to find a spot to plug it in. The coffee is not that great, but the milk is incredible.

Nice coffee shop / boutique in Phoenix. Tables are spaced nicely and there are some great spots to work from the laptop, specifically the high top tables are great for standing and they have convenient electrical outlets. The tea is pretty good; I haven't tried the coffee.
