Giant Coffee is a little away from the main downtown core. If you are looking for a quiet place to get some work done and enjoy a not overly busy coffee shop environment - this is the place to go. Their honey vanilla latte was advertised as one of their unique specialities, so I had to try it. To be honest, I’m not a huge fan of overly sweet caffeinated drinks, but boy, did this one hit it out of the ball park for me. The luscious, silky foam and smooth, milky coffee had delicate notes of aromatic honey. You couldn’t stop at one sip, it was just perfect. The way the roasted aroma of the coffee beans danced with the flowery honey aftertaste… it took me a minute to get back to reality. There was a selection of foods offered as well such as burritos and sandwiches. I spent quite a lot of time there and enjoyed it - they even had raised up little “office desks” with power for laptops where you can work and enjoy the cool people of Phoenix come in to socialize and grab some food. Just a great place to check out if you’re in the area.

The Honey Latte is to die for, make sure to tell them Carlos sent you. They don’t know me but you will sound pretty damn cool saying it.

I really loved this place! The employee was super nice and the atmosphere was so nice, there were plants and soft music. Overall it was a super nice place to meet friends!

I really liked this place, if for no other reason than it's not catering ONLY to people who want a neon-colored iced beverage or an enormous over-sweetened milkshake with barely any coffee in it. They have real macchiatos, and their small cappuccinos are close to traditional.

I tried an iced mocha for the first time from this place, and it was so good! Finding the coffee shop was a little difficult and there isn’t a ton of parking right next to it that I could see, so I would recommend parking somewhere on the street and walking to the cafe. The inside is so cute and spacious. I will say, there isn’t really anything special I saw on the menu, but they do the basics really well.

I've yet to ask where the coffee is from or how the roast is so good, but the flavor is a giant step above most. Cool and unnecessarily spacious coffee shop with a wall that opens up to the street in non-summer seasons and featuring cool little (and giant) plants throughout. Come for the coffee, pastries, or burritos, but then check out the plants!

This place is wonderful! I ordered the iced pumpkin spice latte and the coffee had the perfect flavor ratio of bitter/sweet. The atmosphere is cozy and the place is decorated with lots of plants and books. Also the barista that helped me was very friendly and gave lots of coffee recommendations for my first time here. Will be coming back to try the honey vanilla latte!

The baristas that work in the morning are so nice and make the most delicious coffee. I've slowly become a regular here and I hope to keep it up :) Their honey lattes are bomb.

Stopped by around 1:30 pm on a Friday. Ordered a latte w/ oat milk and a slice of veggie quiche.
The Good: the service was warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. The barista had specific answers to my dumb question about oat vs almond milk. She was also proactive in letting me know that the slice of quiche would take 10 mins to heat in the toaster oven BEFORE I paid for it. I appreciated the heads-up. The latte was smooth and quite good. I expected run-of-the-mill quiche and got something more. Very flavorful with good depth - I really enjoyed it and would def try it again.
The Mediocre: TEMPERATURE! Is it just me or are more and more coffee shops afraid to serve HOT espresso drinks? In short, my latte was only two degrees this side of hot. Will definitely make it a point to ask for a HOT drink next time. Also, despite 10 minutes in the toaster oven...the quiche was served with with an uneven mix of hot, cold, and lukewarm spots. It wasn’t the end of the world, but still kind of a bummer - particularly given how flavorful it was otherwise.
Extras: fresh flowers and lots of natural lighting everywhere.
Bottom line: would definitely recommend and will be back. If you like your drink hot...be sure to ask.
