Makai Cafe

Great service by Ciera!!! She was polite, kind and had a great personality. On top of that she never let the coffee cup become empty. The eggs & chorizo as well as the Arizona breakfast were tasty.

Went there with friends Sunday, the food was very good, our server though sucked! Kelsey thought it was a good idea to make fun of some of us because of what we ordered. Then her snide comments. Handing out utensils, she hands me mine across the table, when I just looked at her, another snide remark.
Did not come out to see how everything was, and when we were done and told her we needed 3 separate checks, it was like the world ended.
Gave us our checks and didn't come back for at least 15 minutes, at that time I was going inside to pay, when she came our, she said I am here now, I said I am going inside to pay, after I walked by her, my wife and friends said she made a face and waved her hand...

Came in on a Sunday morning, the place was dirty, looks like it was never cleaned from the night before food and trash on the floor. .Waitresses with hair down no uniforms very unprofessional looking. Won’t be visiting this place until they clean up they’re act.

Cannot go to Havasu and not have breakfast at Makai's. Best place to eat. The waitresses are so adorable and friendly. Laura was such a doll. She noticed my son held door open for some patrons and she asked us if it was okay to give him cookies for being a gentleman. Thank you Laura.

It's 9:30 a.m. February 16th at the makai Cafe in Lake Havasu City adjacent to the London bridge I just had an awesome eggs benedict it had a really flaky delicious buttery biscuit with a sausage patty a perfectly cooked poached eggs soft and country gravy oh yeah..

They treated me like family

Makai Cafe is by far the best place to get breakfast and lunch in LHC. Anytime we have visitors we always ensure they experience Makai's.

Pros:
Beautiful view of the London Bridge and channel
Great Atmosphere outside with grass, palm trees and running water
Service is great and the servers are very nice
Food is exactly what you would be looking for with a menu that has a wide variety of options.
Bloody Mary's are awesome!

I always get the same item which is the breakfast tacos! Seriously they are extremely good and you cannot go wrong. I have had the crab cakes eggs Benedict which are also tasty. Fresh fruit is ripe and juicy while the kids pancakes are on par, especially with the caramel syrup.

I highly suggest you try this place, you will not be disappointed.

Good food! fun little area. My only recommendation is don't get get orange juice, It's good... but they give it to you in a half size cup, and you don't get refills on it.

RUDE staff and bad service. My friend paid the bill and she's Korean. She has a Korean name which I guess the waitress wasn't familiar with. The waitress came back out with my friend's card and asked US what my friend's name was, putting us on the spot and pitting us against our friend. Completely rude. If she had doubts about my friend's identity or the card, she should've just asked for her ID.

Next, a few of us were waiting for some friends in the bathroom and we were standing near the stairs and the exit. An older waitress came out and yelled at us for being in the way, shouting "Move! Move! You're in the way! Get out of the way!" We were shocked. She could've said "Excuse me guys, could I ask you to scoot over here just to clear the walkway?" But nope. She had to be rude and it was extremely offensive. I would never go back here because of the staff alone. Good luck Makai.

Funky smell, but most of the lower shops do. Best burger we've had in Havasu. Need to arrange seating better, two rooms, one is spacious with large tables, other is cramped with small tables.

This is the worst service i have ever recieved and to top it off it is Mother's day. There was a waitress behind the counter stuffing her face indront of customers. Disgusting! Where is the professionalism? The other waitress told us to sit down and someone else would be with us. We waited and didn't get water, we will be with you shortly, NOTHING!! We will not be back. Word of mouth is like a wildfire to business.
