Makai Cafe

Menu didnt have too many options for breakfast, but it's a cute lil breakfast cafe near London Bridge off the River. Not do much of a clear view to the water, a bit small in the inside but friendly service & food came pretty quick. But then again, I ordered pancakes & hashbrowns, my hubby ordered a sandwich and fries, so of that would have took long, I would have been surprised lol. Very cute to go & try out thou if ur staying in lake Havasu you must try at least once.

To our server/waitress between 10-12nn (orange shirt): been a while since I last ate here; enjoying someone's company whom I seldom see. Tsk, tsk... I was the wrong person to show how tired you were and kinda annoyed (hostile?) that we're there you can't even get near our table, to say hi and ask how we are (But you seem nice to the other tables!) because here I am-writing a bad review of you. Have to ask you to come near the table so we don't yell at you? You just barked on us and asked "are you ready to order!?" like we kept you waiting and waiting? But we did not! But thanks for checking back twice. F*****g amazing this always happens with these restaurants of the same owner. Thanks & 5 stars to the kitchen: they were fast and got everything made to order of country fried steak and veggie omelette.

We visited the Makai Cafe on an impromptu trip to Lake Havasu, AZ. The restaurant, food and employees were GREAT! Our server Jayden was PHENOMENAL!! I recommend you stop by if you are ever in the area 😉.

This is the best breakfast restaurant in havasu. Located under Barley Bros with a great view of the London Bridge. This is a good ol breakfast joint; the food is good, nothing weird about the menu, coffee is good and the creamer bowls are always filled. Service is great.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. We had the Benedict Eggs with grits which was excellent.
The location, just beside the London Bridge, is very nice on a sunny day.

Enjoyed Lunch today with my sister for her Birthday🎂.

A true Asset😜

My family and I are local. This is our go to place with family and friends. Until now. We walked in 25 till they close. The woman that works here is so unhappy that we walked in and said we close in 17 mins. U made it under the wire. She has since said that to the next 3 tables that have walked in. And grumbling with the cook and cussing under her breath.
If they don't want customer at 1:35 , 1:40 they need to put a sign out saying so! I will not be back.

Consider myself to be quite lucky to have found this place while working out of town. I think her name was Cheri. Excellent service and the best burger I've had in a long time. Thanks for treating us like you did. Your the best!!!!!!
