Sagebrush Coffee Shop & Roastery

Love Sagebrush. They have the best coffee roasts in Phoenix. They are friendly and efficient. The music could be a touch louder to help the dining area feel a little more immersive and less like you’re in the middle of their roastery. But that doesn’t at all detract from the quality of the coffee they brew.

A nice laid-back environment with friendly staff and comfortable and clean seating. A minimalistic menu allows for them to control the quality of the drinks and pastries, which were all excellent. The only thing I would change would be to consider adding something savory to the menu to help counteract the sweetness that comes from a lot of products, even if it was just a plain bagel.

Despite that, I still think that if you need a quiet escape from the stressors of the world, this is the place to do it

Pretty chill cofee shop. I like the openness. If you want to have a meeting they have a huge conference table that fits 8-10ish.
Coffee is good 4/5. Good tea list. Staff is nice, friendly.

This coffee is horrible. Tasted mine and my husband’s latte on the way out, and immediately hated it. We made sure it was all mixed before we tried it again. After that taste test, it went right in the trash before we even got to our car. I do not recommend. This is the second time I’ve tried this place. First time wasn’t great, but drinkable. This time, we actually felt sick on the way home.

One of larger coffee roasters and coffee shops in the area. Quite an exotic choice of coffees and teas on the menu. The menu also include several seasonal favorites. Surprisingly large choice of teas for a coffee roaster. Comfortable and large indoor and outdoor seating seems to accommodate groups without looking overcrowded.

Good coffee. Zero interest in customer satisfaction. My mother got a hot latte and noted that the milk tasted like it was bad. I tried it and agreed. Took it back to the counter expecting (a) they would offer to make it again with a different milk bottle, (b) they would inspect/taste the milk to see if it was indeed bad, (c) they would offer to replace it with something else, (d) they would give us a refund for that item (total purchase was about $30). Instead their response was that we were wrong and the milk was fine, which they know because they always check the date on the bottle. We will not be back.

Great coffee, chill atmosphere, and kind staff. I love this place. I’ll definitely be coming back often. :))

The coffee is good but this coffea shop is very strict on not putting a drop more than the measured if you want a little sweeter, and the lady is lazy to even put the measured amount, she puts even less caramel and you can't taste the flavors. Also one time I bought a bag of coffea and when I brewed at home it was burn flavor, the most horrible coffea, so I took it back and they didl not give a refund or credit, they said it's my problem, with this attitude they will fail, and go out of business in no time, just remember my words in a couple of years.

So, everything was going great until I got the drink. I came with two friends to study and loved the space and atmosphere. I loved my friends drinks but my order of dirty chi tasted really off. I came back to the counter to ask for a replacement and was met with such hostility. I believe the exact words were "Umm, thats what you ordered and we just cannot replace it with anything else, but you can buy a new one". They offered to remake it, but the problem was the taste. I was extremely confused as to them being able to remake a drink but not replace it? I would have been completely fine with doing a replacement but was rudely talked to and was met with so much shortness! I never ever right reviews but was disrespected and I felt I would warn future goers about their policy. Otherwise super cute lol.

EDIT: I spoke with the manager and he explained the policy, as they work really hard to create these drinks. However, I am keeping up my review due to the employee that tainted my experience of what would have been a great experience.
