Wonderful atmosphere! Great waffles and coffee. Friendly staff!

I love getting lavender hazelnut lattes or one of their specials, the Yukon Gold.
Pro tip:
Takeout waffles come with one container of drizzle and one container of crumbles to put on waffles, so it is mean to lay out the waffles, sprinkle the crumbles, then drizzle the drizzle.

It is a nice place for coffee and a sweet treat just a bit pricey so reserved for special occasions.

How to start...it's a coffee shop in a train car that has gourmet waffles.
Note the gourmet waffles part. They are good waffles but they just need something more. We talked to the owner and she explained due to regulations they can't offer more, like bacon and eggs. That would just top everything off.
The cost of adding a hood and stove would not be cost effective.
Never the less it's a neat experience, especially if you want to read a book while having some coffee.

My wife and I went there with our two kids. The staff was very friendly. After we placed our order it took about 5-8 minutes for them to make it and bring it over. The waffles were delicious. I would reccomend the lemon drop waffles to everyone even those who dont like lemon, they were so good.

Beautiful old train car and fun coffee drinks. The waffles are to die for, so light and delicious, and they're generous with the lemon curd. Limited seating for parties bigger than two.

The waffles are delicious. Service is consistently good. Being able to sit on the upper level of the train is fun

Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The location has incredible views. The prices are more than fair. The food will blow your mind and nourish your soul. Don't ask why to go here, instead ask why not.

This is a nice friendly place with it being in a train car "602" the view in the upper car is awesome. You can see it from the road to the right as your entering Soldotna heading South coming from Anchorage on the Sterling highway. The turn off is just as you slow down from 55 to 45. This could make it possible to miss it, as you're watching traffic and entering town.
I had a mocha and look forward to trying their unique offering of waffles. They even have a GF (gluten free) waffle that is made from cornbread.
Good luck and enjoy

Great coffee and a gluten free option for the win!!
