Easily the best little coffee shop in the State! They always have fun, tasty drinks and I've gotten something different every time. Plus, the waffles are quite literally to die for! Not to exaggerate, but you'll evoke the spirit of Samuel L. Jackson with the "Mother Clucker"! The waffles are perfectly proportioned and light. Easy for a quick bite on the run. The train car adds a lovely environment with a view of the Caribou Hills. The only downside is that they're not in Anchorage (we need more places like this in town). But that means every time I drive to Homer, I get coffee and waffles! If you find yourself on the peninsula, you have to stop by!

hands down th best coffee shop in town!! the workers are friendly, and the coffee is phenomenal!! i havent personally had their waffles, but judging by other reviews and people that have had them, they are also really good.

I don’t often leave reviews, but words cannot explain how wonderful this family and crew are! I had the privilege of being able to work here for a few months during a time of much change and Whistle Hill was a second home. Not to mention, the quality and consistency in training, housemade sauces and delicious scones. The atmosphere in incredible and unique! My, my, my, please stop in. And tip your barista/o well ;-)

Great drip coffee, absolutely wonderful artisan waffles... The train car dining area is truly brilliant, I highly recommend it!!!

This is a great place to get coffee, their in house made waffles are amazing, along with their carmel latte (on their menu it is called a sugar daddy), I highly recommend that. I have never had a wrong order or incorrect drink made. This is a coffee shop to definitely add to your list.

Ask my two year old where he wants to go and it’s here every time. Their coffee and their waffles are amazing, but what’s better is their service. Every interaction we’ve had here has been better than positive and they’ve gone out of their way to make my boys and I feel welcome even though it’s not really a ‘kid’ place. We absolutely love coming here and hope everyone coming through town gives them a try. You won’t be disappointed!

These are the best waffles I've ever had, and the coffee is fantastic as well. The decor is beautiful and eccentric, while retaining a homely atmosphere. They provide excellent service, and I have never been disappointed.

This place is awesome. A new way to do "__& waffle". Unique and has an awesome future! Wish I could've gotten one of each!

I was already aware of how superb their coffee was when I stepped in today but the food is equally astonishing! My 10 month old enjoyed crawling in the train and gives her compliments to the chef. “Mmmmmm” was all she said during our visit. The mother clucker waffle and big daddy caramel latte was my order and I am very pleased with the service, friendliness, and deliciousness I’m always met with!
