Rose's Cafe

Rose's Cafe is hit or miss with service, usually miss unless you get Rose, then you're golden. The lead server always seems stressed out, and that trickles down to the other servers and even into the kitchen. The food is good, typical American food. Prices are Alaska expensive, but not terrible compared to the touristic places in Denali. Donuts are nice and chewy, coffee is perfect to wake you up, Sourdough is delicious. I go here maybe once a month to get my Americana fix.

This is definitely not a “5 Star Restaurant” per say however, Rose’s doesn’t deserve anything less. EVERYTIME we go to Denali park we have to stop by here if they are open. It’s not that the food is to die for, it’s just very at home feeling. Staff is always more than pleasant and the food is your average diner meal. I will say I’ve never been displeased with the freshness, quality, or quantity of food for the price.
You can really tell they care about the local population around Denali just by sitting in the dinning area and seeing how the staff interacts with people.

12 of us sat down and within 20 minutes we all had our food. Ruben, onion rings, and chicken fried steak was great. Great food and service.

Certainly my favorite spot to eat in the Denali area and a favorite of the rest of the locals as well. Open year round with breakfast all day! Great staff, great food with good portions. Plenty of parking space for semi trucks, campers and everything inbetween. Indoor and outdoor seating, Wi-Fi, fresh coffee all day, regular fresh baked bread and home made salsa. Come as you are, feel welcome and leave satisfied.

Best tomato soup and grilled cheese in the USA. Also, Selena. I'm her biggest fan, but not the one who killed her. I think about Rose's all the time and it's one of my happy places. 😊

Lovely place for a hearty meal. Food is high quality.... the homemade dips and salsa is fantastic. Lovely interior with history about the local wildlife and a very cozy setup. Must stop for a meal

Lovely place for a breakfast. Make sure to stop by if you are staying in the Healy,AK are on in transit to Fairbanks. I found the waitress friendly. Their omelettes were bomb and so were their pancakes.

A local favorite - Rose's was recommended by several folks. Good, basic food options. We had a patty melt with side salad and Monte Cristo sandwich with onion rings. They mixed the order up a bit (put my onion ring order on hubby's plate, but we're flexible and I just ate them off his plate. Monte Cristo was different, it was French Toast filled with ham and melted cheese and sprinkled with powdered sugar. Server was friendly and attentive and food was good. Nothing fancy, but nice views out the window.

THE place to go!!! We were in the area in the "off" season. We traveled back north to Healy to find food and found Rose's Cafe. Amazing home cooking for lunch time, et couldn't wait to go back for breakfast! Breakfast was even better! Huge portions and I had the biggest pancake I've ever seen!!!
