An awesome place! Perfect for Alaskan writers to go relax and just write our stories while enjoying the drinks and good food! Very sweet people work here!❤

Nice prices for FANTASTIC coffee. Absolutely loved my honey milk tea, sadly don't remember what blend it was. I tipped what I thought was a decent amount for our customer service and realized I wasn't paying as much for coffee as I suspected <3 Thank you employees at Writer's Block Cafe, it was a wonderful visit.

Quite and cozy and delish. There were many many interesting books available and yummy HOT tea and coffee. My aunt had a breve she swore tasted just like a cinnamon roll. The service was helpful and thoughtful.

It's hard each day to find a place to sit down and relax away from the home and stress. However the Writer's Block allowed me tp do just that as I partook in their calm and friendly atmosphere. I drank delicious coffee from a real cup and was happy to discover some Keto friendly options on their menu. The thing that impressed me most is their book selection and their patrons. People just interacting smiles and muted laughter, while each book appeared as a curiosity rather than one of a dozen copies.

I left with a sated appetite an armful of books and the feeling of calm that will keep me coming back <3

This is one of the coziest spaces in Anchorage - a perfect little getaway where you can bring a book or your laptop in peace. It's usually very busy, but even then, not noisy. Their food is unique and delicious, hot cocoa is wonderful, and I love their bread pudding! And the staff is super friendly and make the vibe of the place great.

I was here briefly once while on my bike I think. It was a short visit, but this place is highly intriguing.

Staff was friendly and welcoming which is refreshing nowadays. Eclectic hole in the wall with a good variety of books to choose from. I asked them to just make me something good which turned out to be a yummy Iced Dirty Chai. Typically I don't like to try new things and I'm really not a chai gal but it was truly good, thanks!!! My only wish is that they had more unique little trinkets, gifts to choose from.

This place is a triple threat: great food, coffee, and books. The book selection is fantastic. The food is creative, fresh, and delicious. I love coming here for lunch with a friend or just a quick cup of coffee while I browse the shelves.

This place is awesome! The music is pleasant and quiet enough to where it isn't a distraction.
I plan on visiting again. And again. This is the perfect place to get your writer wheels turning or just to sit and read, sir and eat, sit and drink.

Great cafe. They have books, food, coffee, beer, wine, WiFi. Open late too. I have no complaints.
