Cafe Beignet

The service pushed my rating up to a four. The cashier was so nice and attentive. Our order came out wrong, so the cashier gave us another beignet to make up for the error. After having a beignet while in New Orleans, these were a bit disappointing. Perhaps if we hadn't opted for the cream filling they would have been better. Coffee was delicious, and we were given refills while there. I'll check them out again next time we visit - you should do the same!

I had read the reviews and was excited about visiting Cafe Beignet. However, I was turned off by the guy in the back cooking and preparing the orders. He was rude and easily agitated. The young lady up front was nice and had a pleasant attitude. When she send an order back, his response was, “it’s going to be a while, tell them get on facebook or something.” I almost cancel my order when the lady in front of me order came up, she asked for another camel dip, when the order was relayed, the man’s response was, “I sent you one up with the order.” She replied, the customer want another one. He didn’t say anything, filled the cup half way with Carmel and slide the cup across the counter. The young lady look at the customer and the customer said, I understand, he by himself back there and he’s busy.
I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to rant. The beignets got a 5/10, they were ok.

Brought in our crew of 13 including 7 kids and they were fantastic. We were all wanting beignets after our trip to New Orleans and they were delicious. Highly recommend!

I live locally and love this place. The beignets are cooked to order -never started before you arrive. Its a very simple menu, mostly just beignets and coffee- a few baked items under glass at the counter. the walls are lined with local coastal art. Its a close as you can get to Cafe Du Monde without being in New Orleans.

The beignets are really similar to the beignets in Louisiana. They are delicious square beignets that can be filled with vanilla pudding. The iced coffee with french vanilla is delicious. The staff was friendly.

Bought a dozen fresh - Dough was tough and chewy. Family ate 4 of a dozen. Overall experience was flat.

First time trying beignets ever and I'm so glad we got them here! I didn't get a photo of the filled ones because the family ate them up so quickly! They are a must have treat in this area! I'm glad we tried them at the beginning of our trip because we will be getting them again at least once before we head home!

This is not your ordinary bakery with items in a case. When you place your order, you sit inside and watch one of several TV's while they make them FRESH FOR YOU. We ordered two dozen, it took maybe 15 minutes, and we walked out with hot, fresh and absolutely delicious beignets. I wish there was one in my city.

We just picked up carryout. They need to be open after lunch time. Beignets are a great snack. Closing at "noonish" is stupid.

The beignets were good. The business was busy. The cashier was friendly and attentive. The hot chocolate is too hot for children. We were warned but even after waiting 10 min to cool my child still burned her whole mouth. Overall it was good but not a repeat for our next visit.
