Central Restaurant

Our waitress was horrible, she was unprofessional, interjected herself into our personal conversations and couldn’t keep her opinions to herself. We traveled from NC for a birthday celebration with our brother and she contributed to making the evening regrettable.
The food was lousy, tasted bland and way overpriced. The menu was alcohol heavy and food light as if to focus on. We won’t be coming back👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Overall, a great experience for dinner in Montgomery. The menu is diverse and gives options for all tastes and likes. The server did not rush us at all which allowed for a relaxed dinner atmosphere and overall comfortable experience. I will be coming back again!

All great. The food was creative and excellent, service was exemplary and the restaurant incorporates features of the steel mill that used to occupy the space. Mohammed topped it all with his entertaining personality.

This is an excellent spot for a date or food tasting! Their staff was amazing and surprisingly knowledgeable of their food and very helpful. The food was well worth the price, though it is expensive. Every detail of a dish is thought of. Their Creme brûlée was a highlight for me but those I was dining with raves about the lemon meringue. We were told that their menu was in constant flux. I would be very excited to try this place a gain. It was a little loud for dinner. So, please don’t expect a very intimate setting, even though the ambiance suggests that it would be perfect for a date. Still a great spot especially if you’re a “foodie”.

This evening was beyond a 5 star. Pia was phenomenal. Our meal was extraordinary. The dessert was incredible. We highly recommend this place.

I visited on Saturday even about 6. I was in a fairly large group of about 15. The ambiance was very nice, I liked the fact the bar was further into the restaurant and not as soon as you walked in. The wait staff was really nice and accommodating. I felt the menu was a bit pricey and limited too, as a pescaterian I had like two entree options. The cocktails sound very carefully crafted and fun, many in my party ordered them and seemed very satisfied. I had a lot of food here and nothing really blew me away. My entree red grouper was bland for sure. I also had the pimento cheese, which also fell short of my expectations. I think the highlight of my meal was dessert, I had the sweet potato cheesecake and it was really good. I don't know that if I were in Montgomery again that I would return, nothing too memorable about this place.

We had a big party of about 18 people on Wednesday the 15th of February for dinner at 6:30pm. The service was great from the time we walked in the door until we left at about 8:30 pm. The bartenders, chefs, wait staff did a fabulous job and we will definitely return.

Awesome place!!! Food was good!!!! Love the atmosphere and the decorations. The best part was the service, Gabby was our server and she was outstanding!!! Her suggestion were spot on! Next time I am in Montgomery I will definitely come back here.

Easter brunch was phenomenal! I've never had a bad experience at Central and this visit was no exception. Everything on the menu is always exceptional and delicious.

This place was simply delicious, for all of the senses. Atmosphere is great, very well appointed, simple and clean. Service, impeccable. Even with a brand new menu (1st night of service) our server was knowledgeable and helpful in narrowing down our desire to order everything on the menu. Food was excellent. Extremely well prepared and presentation very nice. I wish I had found this place my first night in town, not only to have seen and tried the previous menu, but to save myself the hassle of some rather mediocre meals from other nearby establishments. If you are looking for a great meal in Montgomery Alabama, this place should be at the very top of your list.
Oh, and the cocktails are impeccable, again, delicious and extremely difficult to choose.
