Husband and I had lunch here today. Both got the BBQ cheddar bacon burgers and we both agreed they were some of the best burgers we’ve ever had! Place was super cute and whimsical. This restaurant was highly recommended to me by several people and they did not disappoint. Very nice and attentive waitresses. Will definitely come back next time we visit Mentone.

The most disappointing restaurant experience I’ve ever had. We made reservations for this place a week in advance and were sat in the most awkward corner of the restaurant in a hallway where all of the staff traffic was. We couldn’t see the rest of the restaurant at all to try and get the full experience. The flowers on the table had old, nasty water with gnats swarming them. The subpar food was served on paper plates and still cost $30 per person. The only thing good I have to say about it is our waitress was helpful and sweet.

Very interesting cafe. Quite eclectic. The food was very delicious. Only downside was the disposable ?dishes? Such elegant meals served commonly. Thus the 4 stars. Pictured is their Loaded tomato pie nestled in angel hair pasta w/side of sauteed veggies.

Took my late mother and late aunt here on a day trip from Birmingham and the food was great and the people that run the place were great! I'm from northern Michigan but will be returning soon with my godson to eat there before I show him the water falls.

Phenomenal food with a wonderful atmosphere filed with paintings from local artists. Definitely go here and enjoy!

Tomato pie, to die for. Absolutely delicious!!! Wait time for food was a little long but overall a good experience

Sadly this place has taken a hit since I was there 5 years ago. No more sweet potato biscuits, how can you cut these from the menu?!

Very pretty, popular “vintage hippie” restaurant in a cottage. Lots of local crafts to see while while waiting to be seated (which can be a while). While waiting a white bearded gentleman kept us entertained with his guitar and a singalong. We ate the tomato pie, which had been highly recommended, Side salads, homemade kettle chips, and dessert to go. Definitely a great place to eat, be entertained, and maybe buy some local art, but be prepared to wait for a while.

Amazing environment and service. We loved their food and live music. We will be back for sure. Highly recommended.

Such a great gem to visit. Definitely unique and worth the trip when you are burned out and need a mountain fix.
We accidentally discovered we were near Wildflower and decided to stop in for lunch. Glad we did.
While we waited outside on the porch we had several funny conversations with others waiting. Everyone including the customers were very laid back.
I had the Chicken Salad and it was totally refreshing on a hot summers day. I finished off with buttermilk pie, that reminded me of my mothers. Service was fast and we were not hurried.
We will be going back and bringing friends that have never been.
