Husband & I ate dinner here during our first night staying in Mentone. Was our first trip to Mentone & Wildflower Cafe. We managed to make a reservation for same day dining & were seated for time of said reservation. I absolutely loved the eclectic charm the outside of the cafe has at night. The inside is charming as well with a cute hippie & artsy vibe! The entertainment was a solo vocalist and she was great. Very easy to listen to while dining! Our waitress was very very sweet & took great care of us. I ordered the stuffed mushroom (which I thought was delicious! The creamy sauce on top was super good.) husband got the prime rib- it wasn’t his favorite prime rib - but he still enjoyed it. It was pricey, but we were on vacation & expected to spend $ at dinner. I wouldn’t recommend, at least the dinner menu, if you are on a strict budget- however, if you are looking for a good meal in a charming cafe that’s within super close driving distance when staying in Mentone.. I would recommend! I would come back just for the mushroom dish.

Perfect. Very nice hostess, waitress, clerk, dining area. Food was great and at a very fair price. You gotta look for it. It's not your everyday restaurant. Then, they are not your average staff. Great job you all. I look forward to another lunch if I ever get back to your lovely state of Alabama.

Very interesting place. Lots of neat stuff. We had loaded nachos, "Feta"chini Alfredo and the Grilled Filet. Food was OK. Steak was a bit inconsistently cooked, but had a great char. The sauce on the pasta was a bit thicker than we would have liked. Very friendly staff. It was a bit odd eating a filet on a paper plate, at least the silverware was "real" lol

Had reservations and were seated promptly. Had salmon cakes, loaded tomato pie, both were very good. Hummingbird cake is more like a fruit bread it is delicious. Resort town prices. Recommend. Call for reservations several days ahead. Oh they had a singer also.

Reservations were required. Wonderful food. Get the Hummingbird cake! Cute outdoor decor and fun art to purchase all throughout cafe.

Great food. Wonderful atmosphere. Owner is awesome. Would definitely recommend. Adopted the kitten (Max-Oreo) from the porch. Owner is very concerned about his well-being and care. Max is doing great at his new home and getting vet care and lots of love. Thank you Moon for your love and great service!!

Gluten free bread and options for celiac as well as those looking for vegan options. Eating was all outdoors. Sunday afternoon it was very busy. Live music made it a pleasant ambiance. The food was wonderful! There is an indoor store of art work and other small items. As of 10/24 they still required masks to go indoors.

Wow. Outstanding. Came upon this place by accident when we decided to randomly detour to Alabama coming home from Florida to New England. This cafe is a destination in itself! Try the loaded shrimp and grits... outstanding! Sweet tea delish...and derby pie! Why does New England not cook like this! Excellent.. excellent food and service! Thank you!

My wife wanted to come eat brunch here for our wedding anniversary and it didn't disappoint! The restaurant had a very unique outside that had all sorts of outdoor nick nacks and flowers and a very nice driveway with lots of parking. We did have a little but of a wait as a walk-in, so if you plan to go I'd suggest calling and making a reservation as they are a quite busy restaurant. Now to the food LOL. The food was delicious! My wife had the chicken salad wrap with kettle cooked chips and it was some really good chicken salad! I had the BBQ Ranch Connecuh Sausage sandwich on sourdough bread with the chips and it was delicious as well! There is something on the menu for everyone. We will definitely be back if we come back to the area!

One of the coolest places ever! The food was awesome. I just wish they had more sides they really only have kettle chips lol but they were good kettle chips. Super busy but wasnt a long wait and had good service. If you're in Mentone I definitely reccomend visiting! Especially if you're a hippie chick like me :)
