I was excited about having a new coffee shop especially one that would offer beignets. It was, however, short lived. I was overcharged for the coffee but they did refund the extra charge after standing in line again. The coffee was a little weak tasting even with an extra shot. They said they were out of beignets and all other pastries. I understand about the beignets but there plates of pastries in the case but no one could seem to sell me one. The manager said they were sold out of all food/pastries but you could see them plates full of them in the display case and people eating them in the cafe. I just went ahead and left. I didn't need one anyways. It was just odd. It might be a while before visiting again, though.

I drove through and gave PJ's a try yesterday. I was a little apprehensive after seeing a lot of shaky reviews early on, but whatever opening jitters they might've suffered earlier, I had a positive visit with little evidence of any of those issues mentioned by others.
Stopping by at around 11:45 on a Thursday, there was only 1 person ahead of me in the drive through. I will agree with other reviewers that the drive through setup is a little wonky and you could definitely get stuck in it during busier times or if they happened to be providing slow service.
Fortunately for me, neither of those things were true; I was able to order and drive away in less than 5 minutes.
One kinda weird thing is that the voice coming out of the speaker in the drive through was so soft. Idk if the staff member was whispering into the mic or if there was something wrong with the speaker, but either way, I could only barely hear her. Honestly, I think she might've welcomed me twice bc I missed it the first time. Lol.
The menu has a fairly large selection of coffee, other beverages, snacks/sandwiches, and beignets -- wouldn't be coffee of New Orleans without them. ;) I'd like to try the food, but I'd already had breakfast and just wanted a pick me up, so I decided to try a mocha granita.
In truth, I have no idea what the difference between a granita and a frappe is. They offer both. I figured I'd try the granita since it was slightly lower calorie and also just new to me. After tasting it, it reminds me a lot of, well, a frappe! So I still don't know the difference, lol.
Regardless of my somewhat silly confusion, I liked the mocha granita! Honestly, it was like a slightly icier version of a chocolate shake. Didn't taste much coffee, honestly, which was kind of a bummer, but I liked how dark chocolate-y it tasted. It was pretty, too! It had a slightly chalky aftertaste that was a little odd, but overall I definitely enjoyed it. It worked well as a pleasant treat in the afternoon.
I'd return to continue trying other menu items (especially the beignets), and also to check out the interior of the shop.

These ladies catered a Breakfast and Biz at the Huntsville Madison County Chamber of Commerce and did a FANTASTIC job! Attention to detail, care and concern for event attendee's as well as the Chamber staff organizing the event was second to none. Great Job!

I ordered the Smores Ice and it was absolutely amazing. It was very sweet and flavorful, not bitter what so ever.

Came here in February so naturally had to get their special Mardi Gras drink (king cake latte)!!
We went through the drive up, very friendly staff and great coffee!! Not too sweet but very unique flavors. We are looking to move to Huntsville so it’s nice to know we will have a good coffee shop around 😃

Great little place for coffee and eats. I had the Espresso macchiato, cafe au lait, and beignets. Everything was excellent! Staff was extremely friendly.

Went for the first time for a business meeting. I ordered a coffee and food. The food is amazing!!!
The people were friendly. Service seemed a little slow, but they were extremely busy which could have played a role in that. Definitely will go back!

I wanted to frequent and love this coffee spot but after several times in there the service is just awful. The coffee is okay. The last trip in there I had a rather interesting conversation with one of the employees who was incredibly rude and arrogant. Service is my number one expectation in doing business with anyone and they just keep failing at it. If you care about being treated like a valuable customer then go somewhere else. Creme Brew Lait down the road has great coffee and great service although it is only drive thru. There are more coffee shops popping up in Madison.

Love love love! I'm from Seattle and my coffee standards are ridiculously high. This place not only meets those standards, but I'd put it up there with some of the best coffee I've had. The chocolate for the mochas is perfect, not too sweet. The coffee itself is good enough (smooth, rich, not acidic) that I'll drink a plain latte, which is definitely unusual for me. And the pastries are absolutely incredible. Highly recommend.

I love this coffee shop. Great flavors from New Orleans. Currently, they have King Cake seasonal drinks. They are awesome. It is out of my way to get coffee, but I'll make special trips to get there. I highly recommend.
