Hero Doughnuts

What an awesome joint. I had the loaded hash browns and they were phenomenal!! My only complaint is that I’m visiting town, so I can have this more often.

I rarely leave reviews but there was no way I couldn’t leave a review after tasting the food. I got breakfast delivered trough doordash I have never enjoyed a bacon egg and cheese sandwich as much as I did. The sauces really make everything so much better. Although I got it delivered the hash browns were still crispy. So good!! Great job!! Can’t wait to actually visit.

Excellent Donuts! The vanilla creme filled donut was the best I've ever had. The overall quality, flavor selection and presentation is amazing. But be warned, the donut holes were a bit dry and just OK and the fresh squeezed orange juice was a bit watery. They are very proud of their donuts and have priced them accordingly. If they brought them down to the $2 and under range, I'd give them 5 stars. That said, I'll be back, just not as often as I'd like to go. When a family of 5 has to drop close to $20 for just 1 donut a piece, it puts it out of range for a regular destination. I WILL be back to try their more reasonably priced hamburgers and chicken sandwich someday. They looked delicious.

Update: the burgers here are excellent and the crispy buffalo chicken sandwich is amazing. No really...it's worth fighting the often tight parking to grab lunch here.

Had a great experience here! I ordered breakfast and went back to get a donut for a friend. They were out of what I wanted but made some more before I left. The manager let me have it for free since I waited. I really appreciate this type of service. Also, the food is 💯… plus, good coffee

Whoa. I didn't expect to like this place but now I know why its sooooo popular!
Not only are the donuts FANTASTIC, but the sandwiches are amazing!
Loved the burger. Loved the chicken sandwich. Loved the breakfast sandwiches.
The staff was SUPERB.
I'd recommend to anyone looking for a fun breakfast, brunch or lunch spot.
Everywhere else in the area usually has a LONG wait for brunch whereas Hero Donuts had a short line with quick, kind and helpful service....whereas everywhere else in the Homewood area is usually an hour wait for brunch!
Do yourself a favor and GO.

The staff is amazing and will for sure go back. The only issue I could say is I wish the orange juice was in a bigger cup for 2.50 buy still was freshed squeezed.

$46 for a dozen donuts -6 specialty and 6 glazed a coffee and (1/2 )glass of milk instead of full glass. Highway robbery but my fault for not looking at prices. Blueberry crumble donut all you could taste was grease , cream filled was not creamy more chewy, key lime was decent, but most of all the donuts themselves tasted like they were made yesterday or longer, could not have been freshly made, if they were fresh that makes it even worse. Worst donuts I have ever eaten and price well you know. Could have had a steak!

The strawberry donut was very good but everything else was ok. The fluffy brioche dough they use is amazing. Flavor was just lacking. Such as the cinnamon donut. I think they just sprinkle cinnamon into the dough. The decor and area are adorable. It's just very trendy and but could step it on the food offerings in the flavor department.
