Busy Bee Café

Stumbled upon this accidentally ... Yeah! Best fried pickles...ever! Excellent pork schnitzel and spaetzle. I can't seem to find anyone who uses veal any longer. Our service was excellent for what was available ... one server for the entire place the night we were there. She had a terrific attitude, kept her smile in place. never took a breath and did all she could. Though hit by the 2011 tornadoes that devastated so much of Alabama, the interior looks like it hasn't been updated in decades. BUT, that is not why you come here!

They have great steaks. In fact I'd put them the best in town on steaks. They have quite a bit of German food and it's really good as well. Always look forward to eating there through Oktoberfest. I usually go in for a ribeye sandwich, steak, or hamburger. Their hamburgers are like the old style burgers with bread mixed in with the beef. It's a unique type of burger, but I like it. They have a great selection of draft beer. The service is great and makes you feel right at home. One of the best places to go in Cullman.

Second time coming and last. We went in and there was one dirty table available. Waitress said she would clean it or sit at barstools. Since we have a child we opted for table. She never cleaned the table and preceded to help ever customer after us. So we went to outdoor table. Sat for 10 minutes and nobody ever came. Absolute careless staff and quite Franky very rude. Will not be back.

These are the hands down worst burgers I have ever ate. I couldn't tell if there was any meat in them at all. I knew by the looks of it when it came out something was wrong so I broke off a piece and ate it. The inside was whitish and mushy. But for $2.50 a cheeseburger, I guess you get what you pay for. I couldn't even eat it. I was so glad I ordered fries with it. We will not be going back!!

Awesome place. I cannot brag enough about how wonderful the food is. The place is historic has a come back story from the tornadoes that tore it down. They even have a menu that was found in Mississippi after the fact. Wonderful staff and great prices with TONS of food for cheap.

I have been in here a few times -I can say I have not really been 'impressed' with anything, really. It is a good place to hang out, I have been a couple times but really noticed a few things this time which will problem make me not come back. There is an okay beer and liquor selection for those drinkers out there. Bottom line is, it is always dirty here. The staff are really nice. The chef, nor the waitress/food prep lady, had gloves on. I had a cheeseburger and fries (best thing I ate were the fries). The meat looked like it was deep fried of some sort. I was really wondering what kind of meat it was.. it was hard and fried looking on the outside and had a flesh-like mushy appearance on the inside. Not sure if it was undercooked or just kangaroo meat or whatever. It was very bland. -- At the least they need to step up their game–a lot. I could have had a lot better cheeseburger at Jacks.

Nothing remarkable. Everything was previously frozen: tenders, fries, fried pickles, ect. Burgers are cheap because they are mostly filler.

Interesting burgers. They use flour in them so they are crispy. Fries and O rings great. The staff was very polite and helpful- hard to find good service these days.

Been eating there all my life

Awesome food! I love the southwest burger! Staff is really friendly. A good beer selection and a ton of food to choose from. The burgers are unlike any other I've had around.
