Busy Bee Café

Fun busy throwback place with breakfast, lunch served all day, and dinner. I had a phenomenal southwest burger with o-rings and I will be stuffed until next week. Throwback prices too. The only negative was FoxNews on the TV - otherwise I would give 5 stars.

I went there specifically to have a diner-style burger. I was expecting a juicy/greasy patty of ground beef. Worst. Burger. Ever. It was a mixture of ground beef, bread, flour, and then fried (deep fried?) to the point of having a hard shell. It had NO flavor. I took several bites, hoping it would get better, but it didn’t, so I gave up. We were told that they sell “hundreds per day”, though. I guess the price is the appeal (for those who are on the verge of true starvation maybe!) — only $2.75 for a “cheeseburger”. You get what you pay for, so I should’ve known better.

Prices were extremely affordable and staff was very friendly. Waitress said they were know for their burgers, but we ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with bacon and cheese and a BBQ plate. Both were beyond excellent! Anyone visiting Cullman should check them out.

Just across the tracks from work and the office staff are regulars. We feel like we are walking into Cheers when they call your name.

Always love an established local place that serves up as much hometown local atmosphere as they do good food. Great breakfast spot and good conversation with friendly locals.

The food is great especially their buffalo chicken salad... And everyone is so nice especially Darlene, she makes you feel right at home❤️

The food was good, prices very reasonable, fried pies are the best.

Disappointing... came in, sat down, waited, and never got to order? Waited 15 minutes but it was like we didn't exist. Place wasn't very busy but employees seemed disorganized and unsure what to do.
Maybe next time.

Great small cafe. Egg sandwich was excellent along with homemade chips. My wife enjoyed her fried green tomatoes.

The restaurant music selection was terrific. American country newer artists with a strong traditional sound.

Breakfast was very good, especially fried eggs and ham. Biscuits a little over done for my taste but still good. Will definitely go back. Outstanding waitress.
