Don’t try calling this shop and placing a takeout order, you’ll only hear an automated message saying your call can’t be completed. It’s been this way for weeks too with no option to order online- interesting strategy

Cute little coffee shop adjacent to the Railroad Park. Baristas were friendly and I appreciate that they offer non-dairy and gluten-free options. Indoor and outdoor seating available or get it to go and stroll the park while you sip!

Okay so the crepes are awesome but what you need to know is that on Saturdays in spring to early fall there is a local market and it's incredibly busy and since Saturday is the only time to get crepes at this location you have to come early as they are served 7-1pm but are out by 12. The railroad park location serves crepes Sunday only with the same time with less traffic though.

Nice little hipster place. They have a lot of gluten free and vegan options. I would suggest getting the Persian Latte. Very delicious. You would pay about 10$ for a coffee and muffin.

The Red Cat Coffeehouse is my go to coffee stop when I'm in Birmingham. I travel here a lot for work and I just love the cozy atmosphere! The Havana Brown latte is my all time favorite! Great baked goods as well!

A great location to meet up or sit and have a well-brewed coffee. Their signature lattes, warm or frozen, are delicious, and the staff are always kind. I wish this location had longer hours, but I've enjoyed every one I've spent here.

As far as "independent", non-chain coffee holes go, this is the best Birmingham has to offer it's "hamians".

TWO LOCATIONS to enjoy! Railroad Park / Region's Field AND Lakeview/Pepper Place. I prefer the Lakeview location, but you'll find the same excellent level of food/service at either location. Try their crepes at either location. While not true "gourmet", definitely acceptable coffee shop pie hole stuffing!

During the summer months, the Lakeview location is "the" place to relax and chill during the Saturday mornings only, Pepper Place Farmers Market event, with both indoor and outdoor seating.

The atmosphere and vibe was nice to spend time on a laptop but the food was in small portion size for the price. Was alright quality as well. The strawberry banana smoothie was decent as well. Probably wouldn’t eat here again.

Love the coconut latte (Burmese) and the chocolate chip pumpkin muffin.

Ohh my favorite place for delicious soups, salads, pimento cheese sandwich’s are fabulous! And the Mocha Frappe is... well just check out my pic!
