June Coffee

June Coffee is THE go-to spot. The staff is very warm and inviting as soon as you walk through the doors! The coffee is delicious, but I wouldn’t expect anything less from Jimmy - he has been in the industry for years and truly knows the ins & outs of all things coffee!! The housemade syrups are bomb. Each season they release seasonal flavors and never cease to be absolutely delish and unique in comparison to syrups at other shops! Also such a great atmosphere to get work done. Ya gotta give June a try if you haven’t already!!

The coffee here is really good! I was in town for work and ended up going to June for coffee three mornings in a row because I loved it so much. The interior space is really cool and baristas were super dialed. Would highly recommend going here if you are in Birmingham.

Excellent service and tasty coffee. I had a specialty coffee as well as a single shot of espresso. Both were top notch and balanced. The environment of the cafe was great too. Plenty of seating and the music was just the right level. Can’t wait to get back and try more items on the menu.

I am surprised that this place has a 4.9 and not 5 star rating. Coffee is so good, and pastries from next door compliment the whole experience, the place is very vibrant with positive vibes and a very refreshing experience. Staff is excellent and very attentive, definitely love what they do.Highly recommend this place.

Amazing spot in birmingham to get consistently great coffee! Beautiful space with lots of natural lighting. The coffee is so good I couldn’t wait to get a picture :-) I visited during their soft opening and their grand opening will be June 10th!

Decided to stop off here for a coffee as I was traveling through Birmingham, rather than enduring a gas station coffee.

Was convenient to the interstate and not too hard to find parking, although the mostly street parking or in a gravel lot. No drive through, but cool industrial chic vibe going for it, and busy, so it must be popular with the locals.

Service was polite and friendly, although a little slower than expected.

A little hard to judge the quality of the coffee, since I ordered an almond milk latte, and mostly tasted the almond milk, but could tell it was smooth and not bitter. Was over $6 though with the almond milk, so not a great value for the size.

Of course beats a gas station coffee, hands down, but didn't exceed my high standards for an independent shop in anything other than the atmosphere.

Incredible atmosphere! Love the indoor and outdoor seating. Love the music. Most importantly, they know what they are doing back there. They have are coffee artists. Absolutely try this spot!

I hate it when someone writes the exact same experience I had because now what can I write that's original? Like Collin Spradley for instance who wrote:

I've worked in the specialty coffee industry for over a decade and can say without a doubt that June Coffee is excellent. The people. The service. The product. The menu. All very intentional and well thought out. Birmingham, you're lucky to have this space here!

Note: they're still in "soft opening" stages and will only get better. Pastries / food things will happen as they get their sea legs. Get excited.

Great staff, Great Coffee, overall great vibes. It’s solid to have such an awesome coffee shop in Birmingham. Whether it’s the Baby blue, the Orange Fig, or grabbing a bag of coffee to go. You definitely won’t be disappointed!
