I preface my 3 star review with the fact that this place has awesome breakfast , exceptional prices and a great retro atmosphere. I thoroughly enjoyed it. But the rub for me was the service. Stood at the door lobby enough to nearly walk out before the hostess nearly chased us down to seat us. Gotta fiber her kudos for that. Then the wait for our food was much too long. I grant they were somewhat busy but I saw neighboring tables that were sat after us get there food before we did. But I overlook those quips because of how good the breakfast was and when I'm back in Sheridan I will absolutely go there again and adjust my review accordingly. So I can still say I'd recommend it and my future edit will probably be 5 stars

Been coming regular for 10 plus years.... if that doesn't tell you what you need to know you must like McDonald's.......

Love this place for brealfast. Very decent cup of coffee and great Gluten Free pancakes. I think they are tight on space in the kitchen so orders from larger tables of 5 or 6 people can take a long time. Especially when the tables are over 3/4 full.

Went in waited staff didn’t acknowledge our presence, looked a bit dingy, went to Frackletons and had a good meal.

The Flagstaff Cafe is a neat little diner! Lots of vintage decor give it a good vibe, and there's plenty of it to keep your eyes occupied. The staff is friendly and efficient, and the food portions are generous and quite tasty. I recommend the biscuits and " good " gravy if you're a fan of sausage gravy, because it's some of the best sausage gravy I've came across. They also have a sandwich and hamburger menu for lunch, and I'm looking forward to a return visit to check it out.

The menu has a good variety. The food is delicious. Best steak and eggs that I've ever had. The waitress was splendid.

Probably the best breakfast I've had in Sheridan, ranks up with the best I've had anywhere. The Monroe is the ticket. Place is small, hodge podge and there's a strong tobacco smell from the shop connected but it's not unbearable. Nice staff, always an available table and great prices. Worth the stop for sure.

This place is okay for value on breakfast. There are other restaurants in Sheridan that offer better portions for a better bang for the buck. My main complain is usually the service. The staff can be a bit rude at times and we often find ourselves waiting.
It is an interesting place to visit, a historic building that has been in Sheridan forever. There is a wonderful selection of cigars, pipe tobacco and fancy wooden pipes. (local tip: You can buy empty cigar boxes upon request, but might have to leave you name and phone number if boxes are not available yet.) The atmosphere alone makes this place worth a visit, a true Sheridan experience.
The business had just undergone a change in hands so I will be updating this review if my experience changes on my next visit.
