Nice lunch in a cute historic building. We both ordered grilled cheese. I had Swiss on Rye w/potato salad (tasted homemade) and my husband had cheddar on sour dough with a cup of chili (he liked and it was not spicy). Service was quick and good. If you are walking the town, give this Cafe a stop. We think you'll enjoy.

An absolutely adorable breakfast nook steeped in town history. Oddly enough also a cigar retailer. After this we decided we wanted to travel the US and ONLY EAT in diners built before 1920. Old US establishments such is this are such a crucial part of the American fabric

This is my favorite restaurant ever! Best gluten-free pancakes in my vast search for perfect gluten-free pancakes.
The challenge is deciding between them and the best burger ever! Last time I had both!

They have a great tobacco/cigar shop. It's a lovely surprise!

Fantastic bloody Marys!

I stop here on my way through every time!

Check out the history on their web page!

Quaint little diner. Delicious food. Fast service. Have to try The Monroe with either sunny side or over easy eggs. Pretty hard to beat. Portions were perfectly sized too.

Always a great place for breakfast or lunch. Food and service is great. You can change any burger to a chicken or veggie burger. All home made food. It also has cigars.

The town was amazing. Coffee was great. The waitress was rather cranky. We have been traveling for a few days. This was the first place the service was not stellar. My mom loved her sandwich. Don’t eat the salad it was very aged.

Charming little breakfast/lunch cafe with a cigar bar in it. Walk ways are a but cozy but it's got the coolest bathroom ever. Be sure to check it out if you stop in

Went there twice recently an hour after opening and the food was great except for the hash browns both times. They looked and tasted like left overs from the day before. The wait staff looked and acted like they don't want to be there. Nice atmosphere otherwise.

Was such a fun place for lunch. Love small town cafes. The server was a blast!! He was so upbeat.
(Must admit we helped that along). The food was hot, plentiful. Order was out very quickly. Coffee was promptly refilled. Atmosphere...excellent. Loved the singing from the cook in the kitchen. Would definitely go back!!
