To start off with when you get there the waitresses are super friendly, Loraine will be my waitress from now on. On the radio is Marvin Gaye, James Brown and Queen!
The food was amazing I ordered something that wasn’t on the menu which was chicken fried chicken on a breakfast plate with gravy and eggs. Why is it a four or five? Because I found a hair in the Gravy but here’s the thing it didn’t stop me from eating food is delicious and the next time that I come back Ocho probably be this week if I don’t find a hair it’s going straight to five. Will you look at the outside of the building you’re not even sure it’s a restaurant but it says breakfast on the side so I went in And now I’m not gonna go anywhere else.

Used to frequent this place when I lived here a couple of years ago and guess what... still amazing. You guys did me right. I ate the whole plate which I normally don't do. Great chili omelets!

So so good. Coffee is really, atmosphere is so cool. I ate the Monroe with biscuits and gravy , homemade and delicious!! The ladies who served me were so kind and super helpful. You have to eat here!!

OMG! What a wonderful little gem to eat at. Hope you like cozy and warm atmospheres because this place has that in spades. The waitress is so good, she doesn't write your order down, she memorizes it. The food is tremendous. I could've eaten three plates it was so yummy. The owner served us coffee and then stepped into the kitchen to work alongside his own staff. There is a pride there that is evident in all they do! Just try it! You won't be disappointed. Go early, or you might not find a seat!

7:00 am went for coffee ☕ with a friend for the first time visit. WOW, as soon as you enter the door you need to look up and down and all around this place is massively decorated and it's fun to explore the ceilings and the walls with all of the decorations. I ordered coffee but looked at the menu and I was shocked at the prices, they were cheap!

So I ordered a western omelette made to order with homemade hash browns and I'm telling you when they brought that out it was massive it was overflowing with meat and vegetables it was literally overflowing. I was miserably full but kept on until I finished it because the flavor of the bacon and ham was extremely intense so unlike the bacon or ham that is served in other restaurants where you barely taste it. The mushrooms the bell peppers and onions tasted like they just came out of the garden. My friend ordered French toast half an order well half an order is a full order here it was a plateful. Her and I had a wonderful fantastic breakfast and I promise you I give you my word I'm going back, and Back Again and I told the waitress go ahead and put my name and her name on this table because this is our new place and that's my spot. I still can't believe how thick the bacon and ham was and how intense the taste. One more thing, the people that work there are extremely friendly they want to get to know you and we were perfect strangers we live here but just moved here so they didn't know us and they treated us like family, go to a chain restaurant and you don't get treated like that. If you live in Sheridan or close by then you need to try this place and put your name on one of the tables because you definitely will be a regular since you live close to town but if you're just driving by on the interstate this is a must place to stop and have a fantastic tasting breakfast and Incredibly cheap and the amount of the serving just blows you away. You can spend an hour walking around the place looking at all the knick knacks hanging in the ceiling or on the walls it is very Tastefully done. Its worth going in there just to see that. Breakfast is served at 6:30. I hope you try the place I'll be sitting at my table by the window and my name is Richard come on in say hello.

I have eaten at the PO News Cafe many times over the last 6-7 years and normally there has never been any complaints about the wait staff. At least not until this last visit.

We stopped in this week for breakfast and was waited on by Vanessa. Aside from her arms being covered in tattoos, she was passable as a waitress. This isn't her natural talent, she should be doing something other than waitressing. She doesn't have the natural persona for this line of work.

We sat down, she came over for drink orders, brought the drinks and then proceeded to visit with another customer, exchanging pictures on her phone and chatting casually with him. We were ready for our orders to be taken, but needed to wait for her to finish her conversation.

What we had here were confused priorities on her part. The restaurant was busy, it was 8:30 in the morning and she is standing around chatting leisurely with another customer about pictures she had taken.

When she walked away, I raised my hand to get her attention so that she could take our orders and in a very sharp, terse tone of voice she said "I was on my way over here". Very unprofessional.

She took our orders and within maybe 10-15 minutes we were served. She had nothing else to say to us until she dropped off the check. It was clear that she wanted us to leave and we really did try to accommodate her.

The food overall was its normal quality, with one exception. When the kitchen staff cooks poached eggs, try not to overcook them to the point the yellows are solid please. We ended up with "well done poached eggs".

Will I eat at PO News again? Maybe, if Vanessa isn't working there.
