A very good choice for lunch! The fries were crispy & the potato salad was delicious! Everything was too notch!

I will give this one five star plus. I am not a fan of American Sandwiches, but the ones we had there, were amazing with savory American cheese melting. I with my friend ordered few different sandwiches. Red bird man breaded chicken burger which was quite same as at other food chains, but cheese sandwich was crispy, a fufu sandwich which was made from mushrooms, pickles , tomatoes topped with American cheese was really savory with lit of fries. The waitress was really attentive and the ambience was cowboy style. You should always check out small town restaurants and this one gave us the best experience.

We stopped by for breakfast as we drove through town. The hotel attached looked a little sketchy, but we went in anyway. The food was excellent, and the service was even better. There was only one server/cashier, and she was faster and better than most places with more servers. I had French toast with bacon, and my husband had the village special, and my coffee cup was kept full. The bathrooms were clean, and the little gift shop was also cute.

Good place to stop in at on a road trip. The service and food were good. We enjoyed our meal here. The lighting and atmosphere was good and has a strong western vibe. Prices are low which is nice. I you need a place to stop on a road trip this place is worth a stop.

I had an excellent meal, it was quiet and relaxing after a long hike. Friendly waitresses and a nice little gift shop.

So hungry I forgot to snap pic! French toast, hotcakes, sausage, bacon, hashbrowns, biscuit and gravy - every bit was so good! They were busy, but the servers did a great job. Great place to eat breakfast in Dubois!

We were turned away by exceptionally rude hosts at the Lone Buffalo. It was 2.5 hours before closing and they said they would not put anyone on a list to wait for a table. The sign at the Village Cafe said "closed" but they had cars in the parking lot. We went in and asked, just in case. We were very warmly offered service. The food was above average for a diner and the prices were very reasonable. Had a few unique meals on the menu. This place won us over with friendly people, abundant service, fair prices, and honest food. It's not super pretty, but it's now our dinner destination when in Dubois. Thank you to everyone there!

The server was very pleasant (as is everyone we have met in Dubois) and the service was quick. The food was mediocre and not quite what we expected. What we had was more like fast food than family dining fare. But, it was two meals that may not speak to the entire menu. The burgers that passed looked better, so you may give that a go.

I was impressed with the cheap price and quality of the food. It was a classic tourist café with fried food. The sweet potato fries were delicious! Our waitress was incredibly kind. One of her feet was in a cast, yet she was incredibly kind and polite. After eating, we spoke with a worker with short red-hair. I don't remember her name, but she was very polite, helpful, and gave us valuable advice about the town and travel.
