Busy Bee Cafe

I gave this place 5 starts because, out waitress had a lage area to cover. She worked her fanny off that morning we were there. She greeted the local older gentleman there like they were family members. Our food was very, very good. She made sure my husband had hot coffe often. The view of the creek was wonderful. We did overhead another patron make an unnecessary comment. It was very full in there and the 2 waitress did fantastic! We made sure to tip very generously! She deserved it. Planning another vacation to WY and we have made a decision that we will come back to Buffalo and definately eat at Busy Bee again.

Great atmosphere, tasty food. The bison burger was excellent, and the whiskey cake was outstanding.

Ate here today with friends. The waitress was quite rude. I found the prices to be on the high side. The chili was good and the food came out quickly. Did I mention the waitress was rude? Eye rolling, huffy about having to provide Tabasco, no offer to refill drinks, and a bit put out about explaining that breakfast was no longer being served. Salty and surely might be a better description.

This is a great place to get breakfast if you have some time to kill. Busy Bee Cafe is the embodiment of the nostalgic "old west" diner. One wouldn't even be surprised if Andy Griffith and Barney Fife walked in and grabbed a table. The eggs, hash browns, and French toast bring back memories of one's childhood, and the breakfasts that mom would have made. But, despite its old world charm, it is not without its flaws. If you want to have a bite, be sure to weigh the benefits and costs. Is the classic feel and taste worth the time? With one server for the entire establishment, you might be waiting upwards of an hour just to have breakfast. If you come by, be sure to donate the "help wanted" sign they so obviously need

I do not remember the food because my entire family still talks about the waitress who was as mean as a hornet. If you have seen the restaurant scene in the movie "Hell or High Water" you will know exactly what I mean. Made for a memorable and somewhat frightening experience that we laugh about today...

Was there in September of 2020. The food wasn’t memorable, but the service as so many mentioned, was terrible and all I do remember. Shame because there’s so much history but they really need to show some kindness and courtesy.

Amazing place with a lot of history behind it. Be sure to read the news excerpts and talk to the locals about the history of the Cafe. Amazing food, good coffee, and excellent service and conversation. Not something I see a lot I'm Texas so I felt very welcomed as an out of state visitor

A pretty cool spot downtown! The food was really good and well priced, the atmosphere was super cool, and our server Penny was amazing. We definitely recommend a visit here!

Small diner with maybe 10 tables. The view of Clear Creek might be nice if banners hung on the railing didn't block the view. People came in after us, ordered their food and got it before we got ours. I mentioned to a waitress that people arriving after us received their food before we did. She said they were swamped and that they were preparing the food as the tickets came in. I asked then why were people who came in after us getting their food. Wasn't our ticket put in? She gave me a song and dance. When my husband finally asked OUR server when we would get our food it came out almost immediately. My French Toast was burnt. Oddly, you only get 1 slice of toast with breakfast. In every other restaurant we have ever been in you get two. I highly recommend avoiding this restaurant. At best mediocre food and service.

Horrible food, burned bean burger. Old French fry’s, 1 hour to get simple food. I prefer mcDonalds over that place.bad service with nasty attitude
