Era Pancakes & Cafe

The food is good but the orders took almost 40 minutes to arrive at our table. Service was good in the front of house but the kitchen and Cafe were slow and uncoordinated.

I saw a table of three, a man, woman, and child get their food at all different times. It seems there must be different kitchen staff that run entirely separate because if it's a hot dish it takes a long time to be prepped but others such as pancakes or waffles come out very fast.

This is apparently a new restaurant so they likely are still figuring things out. I would say it's not worth the hype at the moment and to come back in 2 to 6 months.

Tasty and uncommon breakfast and lunch food. Friendly and efficient waitstaff. Clean restroom.

Food and service were great! We ordered the Chicken Ranch wrap, BLT wrap, and the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich (waitress suggested putting the hot sauce on the side which was perfect). Fries were crispy without being burned and fruit was ripe but not too ripe. Very reasonably priced meal that was served quickly while we waited for the car to charge at the Tesla SuperCharger next door in the hotel lot.

Very cute place with a super friendly and helpful staff. Definitely tio your server because they are amazing! Loved the food I got and it was so much I didn't finish it. Banana and Nutella crepes are my go to and I loved the Berry Blast too.

The Alligotto drink was unique. Kat, our server , was too.

Loved it. Was packed as usual, but being busy me I belly'd up to the bar and service was quick, and food was quicker.
Big city atmo with good food choices. Nothing wildly "authentic" and the food feels more Sysco than mom & pop - but it's done well and done with attention. Loved the coffee. No idea what type/brand it was but it was quite good.

Best restaurant around the Wausau area. Best food, best service. Wish they were open later than 2pm.

Era's is excellent. It's elevated diner food with lots of options (including vegetarian), large portions, and very fast, friendly service. I grew up in Wausau and I'm very happy to see a place like this open here--we'll definitely be back.
