Excellent food and great service!! The flight of mimosas is fabulous!!

My husband and I have been here a few times, and we love it every single time! The food always has beautiful presentation and is very yummy! I’m also obsessed with the decor! It makes it a very comfortable place to eat. IHOP has no chance against this restaurant.

Best new breakfast in Wausau. Service is good and food is better.

Don’t be fooled. Era is a very serviceable diner but this is not a brunch cafe. Prices are on par with Madison and Milwaukee with not nearly the quality. Hence the rating. Era is a quality local diner masquerading as something it isn’t. You can find better breakfast/brunch options for a lower price in the Wausau area.

Everything about this experience was great! We did have to wait, but only for about 5 minutes. They have a great system though where they text you when your table is ready, and they had an area with tables to wait at. The staff were so friendly (our waitress was so sweet with our 7 yr old daughter); the food was amazing both in presentation and taste; the fresh-squeezed juice and the espresso are so delicious. I can't wait to go again!

Biscuit with Country Gravy could have used a little more gravy. Eggs were done right. Otherwise enjoyed my meal. First time here. I think $5 for glass of orange juice is a little costly.

Brought the family for brunch to celebrate the return to school and we’re impressed with fast and cheerful service, how clean and bright the restaurant was and that all four meals were really good.
Three berry meals- crepes, French toast and waffles all had lots of strawberries and whipped cream.
I took the waitress advice and enjoyed barbecued (dry rub- so not sloppy)) brisket with eggs Benedict and good breakfast potatoes.
They were good about specific requests ( eg the bacon was perfectly crispy and the eggs were poached hard) - I couldn’t do better!
The almond milk cappuccino was excellent.
From the outside I did not get my hopes up but now we’ll plan to go back- we all enjoyed it!

ERA was ok. Nothing really stood out from a value perspective. When the young lady picked up my plate, I asked for another napkin. She took my plate but never came back with the napkin. I doubt if I will go back.

Food was excellent. The dining area is pretty cramped though. Staff were hopping and friendly. ETA - some of the best coffee ever!

We stayed 3 days in Wausau and we went to Era Pancakes & Cafe every day for breakfast. Everything was so delicious! Staff was really friendly, welcoming, and they all had sense of humor😃
