Wow. Rib Mountain’s New Breakfast place is way more than you’d even hope for! Tasty dishes, fresh ingredients and great coffee. Add the friendly staff and atmosphere and we have found our weekly breakfast place. Go now! Looks like a great lunch menu too. UPDATE: We went back Saturday. Awesome again. ANOTHER UPDATE: Back for a fourth time in a week. Amazing again. Hooray!!

This new restaurant may not look like an especially nice restaurant from the outside, but don’t let the exterior fool you. The food served here is exceptionally good; I had both crépes and French toast (I wanted to try them both, but one by itself is probably enough for most people), coffee and their fresh-squeezed juice. All was amazing. The service is friendly and professional, and the atmosphere is bright and upscale. I will definitely be back again, and highly recommend this place.

So happy to have a great brunch place in town. Mimosas were fantastic as well as our food and service. Great presentation and good atmosphere. I thought prices were in line with what I’d expect. We’ll definitely be back.

Very nice new restaurant. Did a great job getting us seated in an appropriate amount of time with how busy they were. They had great choices and reasonable prices for a more upscale restaurant. Our waitress, Kira, was amazing. Just a new favorite place on our list.

Era was great and my kids want to go back. We all had breakfast. The stand out was an incredible waitress. She was so patient with our first time visit. They have a kids menu that comes with a drink, a great selection of eggs Benedict and much more. Everything tasted fresh and my son loved his side of mixed berries. It was busy and noisy. We would definitely go back.

Best service I have had in a long time anywhere! It took them less than a minute to serve me my drinks. The food was delicious and the waitress and gentleman behind the bar made sure I had everything I needed. Fresh squeezed orange juice was on point! They were very attentive and kind. Loved this place! If I lived in Wisconsin permanently this would be my go to place.

This place serves amazing breakfast & lunch! Fast & friendly staff. Bright & open seating. They even serve fresh squeezed juice, variety of coffees, mimosas, & bloody Mary’s! Will definitely be back again soon! I gave it a 4 star because it was very busy (all seats taken) so it was crowded & louder than I would have liked.

This was my first visit to Era Pancakes & Cafe and I will definitely be back!
I had the polish sausage and eggs with breakfast potatoes. The serving sizes are very generous.
The espresso drinks very high quality. They do serve some cocktails also. I would love to try their bloody Mary next time.
The selection of breakfast and lunch items include a little bit of everything. There's also a kids menu.
I hear you need to get there early as the place fills up fast but I can understand why. It would be worth a wait for a seat.

Really cute new breakfast/lunch place in Wausau! We went on a Wednesday morning and was very busy! Only waited about 5 minutes. The service was fast and we got our food within 15 minutes of sitting down! Was sooo delicious! Will be eating here again for sure!

Not reviewing service because the wait to get a table was 3× longer than I was told. They were EXTREMELY busy so we waited. The staff was friendly, food delicious and the place was clean.
We will definitely eat there again.
