Blue Willow Cafe

I've come here twice while visiting family because they like it, but I really don't see why this place is impressive. Service is just average, ambiance is typical diner, and prices are fine. But the food is just boring and overcooked. I got eggs both times and they were rubbery in both the omelet and the scrambled eggs I had last time. The side of fruit tastes like plastic...because you can tell it is just the watery, pre-cut stuff from a food distributor, not anything they prepped. Looking at what my family got seemed about the same. Not gross, just a little sad and boring.

Food was pretty good. I got the Ceasar salad, the chicken on it was alright, the Lettuce was chopped and the ceaser dressing was great! The breadstick it came with was alright nothing special.

When we walked in they asked if either of us would like coffee before we even sat down. Service was great and staff was kind.

Menu said Best Bacon burger in town. Never mentioned it being a frozen patty. Took bun off to put on ketchup, and cheese and skimpy bacon came off exposing a little pool of grease that I had to soak up with a napkin. Ate half of it...wish i didn't. With the arrogance spewing from the guy at register, figured it would gave been good. So wrong. Look at my reviews to see how many one I do bad reviews I give. I don't.

My stepson would call this an "old person" restaurant lol. But the food was good with reasonable prices so that's the important thing.

The food is so GOOD here. I went with my brother. We had to wait a little bit to get seated because they were BUSY. But man was it worth the wait. We both agree that this place is awesome! We actually stumbled on it by accident. But it was a happy accident! They have a full menu with many different options. The waiters were all nice. It looks like a little place on the outside and it can be easy to pass up, but I would recommend not passing up this place! <3

I've only had their burgers, but this is hands-down the best burger in Wausau. The staff is friendly and capable. It's homey and they have good diner coffee, good prices and quick service even when they're packed (and they usually are).

Great food, nice portions, friendly staff, clean. Excellent soup. They take good care of their customers.

Great food. Fast service. This is your iconic diner with stools at the cook top, tables and booths throughout. Coffee is always hot and constantly being offered. Omelets are on point!

We have been to this restaurant quite a few times. The waitresses (almost all of them) are really great!!

Awesome food, friendly service and priced accordingly.
