Mama D's Coffee - Waukesha

This place is wonderful. My wife and I used to go to Roots in Waukesha before it closed and recently stumbled across Mama D’s when looking for someplace new...I wish we had started looking sooner.

The food is great (best muffins I think I have ever had), huge selection of drinks with plenty of delicious house specials, super friendly staff, and a cozy interior that has always had a couple places to site when I’ve been there.

I really love this place and go as often as possible.

The absolute most down to earth coffee shop I've ever been to. I live right up the road and its a perfect, relaxing spot for college students to study in a positively stimulating environment. Workers are extraordinarily friendly, and they have dog treats, coloring pages, and the world BEST pumpkin chocolate chip muffin. Everything on that menu is made from love, I swear!

Coffee was quite good.
Service unusually rushed given i was the only customer.

It has no place to sit and relax. Few indoor or outdoor seats available. Given the layout, once the cold weather hits, forget it.

If you want a cup to go, ok. If you want a relaxing coffee house in a comfortable setting you will need to keep looking.

Best. Coffee. Shop. Ever. If you’re an iced latte fan, Mama D’s is the place to be! I love their iced caramel lattes - the perfect amount of espresso & the caramel flavoring tastes decadent, not syrupy and fake. Whatever milk they use is thick and creamy too. Customer service is wonderful - you’re treated well & served with a smile. Love this place!

Picture it, 2021 Waukesha Wisconsin. You want a tasty small franchise coffee, smoothie, or bit of solid nourishment. You arrive at mama ds. It’s busy but they greet you with cheer after a short wait. The place is clean and good to look at. Then your drink arrives in your hand. Your girlfriend smiles at you as you both sip perfection. Go ahead, enjoy!

Found this little cafe during a recent trip to the area. We went all four mornings we were there and ended up bringing our extended family, as well! All of the drink options were wonderful and their muffins are the best I’ve ever had!! Breakfast sandwiches were also really good.

After eating lunch there with a friend today I will go back more often! The young women working were extremely friendly and welcoming. My turkey ceasar wrap was excellent. The ingredients tasted fresh and crisp. My friends turkey salad sandwich was awesome. I brought home a piece of their homemade cherry almond pie. Cozy dining inside, chairs and tables outside. Parking lot, no stairs. Excellent

The prices are not cheap but since you smell your coffee you know it totally worths! The card you receive to earn points for a free one encourage you to keep going. The place is small, if you think about a date or a private chat I recommend some summer time to sit outside or off of crowded hours. The staff is cool and they have great coloring books to bring your kid. Pet-friendly and great food.

Food was good with ample portions and nicely presented even with a take out order. Of interest, the ground will tremble when a train passes by. Great variety of foods to order as well as coffees, teas and juices. Small indoor dining area. My only complaint is that I consider their prices to be a little on the high side.

Excellent coffee shop however I was with my friend on Saturday. She called in a curbside order letting staff know she had already arrived, and asked if they could bring her out an iced latte. After about 20 minutes, my friend had not received her order so called in again, and politely asked if it had been forgotten or was ready to which Carly hung up on her. Carly came out of the coffee shop aggressively, and strongly pushed the latte towards my friend causing the contents to spill on her. Carly proceeded to scream at my friend that she “needed to call when you are here and not expect everyone to just know”. My friend called in because Carly stormed off to let her know that her customer service left little to be desired to which Carly replied that she was “stressed, too busy with other orders” and in a very snotty tone told my friend to “enjoy your latte.” My friend is very passive, but I believe that management needs to know that this type of customer service is not appropriate as we frequently patron here. It left us hesitant to return in the future.
